Mysterious electricity drain

So I Have a craft in LKO, and I really don't need SAS on and I am trying to conserve electricity, so SAS is off, and there is only an engine, fuel tank, command pod, and probe core on the ship. Even with SAS of, the electricity is still draining. Please help I can't afford to lose more funds

I think the probe core still drains electricity even if not actually controlling the craft.

Indeed. You can disable batteries or switch out to the tracking center to "hibernate" your probes.
