When KSP is perfect.

Today, I just figured out that my KSP is perfect.

I love it.

I have great mods, Bases, stations, colonies and everything.

Thanks guys for helping me get my KSP so good!

I've had those moments, too. It usually occurs when I have done something huge, one recent-ish example being five precision landings in one mission on Minmus' south pole. It was for a contract in Career mode, one of those "land here and do seismic science" things. Right away, just after the first landing, I accidentally staged and lost two-thirds of my fuel. I was so tempted to revert flight and give up, but I decided not to and go on with the mission. I actually managed to complete the contract and get Jeb home in one piece! I left with this incredible self-proudness because I had constructed the spacecraft, flown it, carefully navigated onto the surface, and even improvised the mission when it had gone horrifically wrong. This is what KSP is about.

My KSP is perfect right before it melts my hardware. :sticktongue:Astronomer's Visual Pack on max res and an 8k skybox may or may not have something to do with that.

Oh, and when I finish my Laythe base & infrastructure, which hasn't happened a second time since its first completion in 0.21.1 with Kethane (never made my ribbons because the kraken ate it within minutes due to a still-undiagnosed bug).

I'm very new to the game, so quite far away from any sense of "perfection" while trying to play it. And that's brilliant.

But I get you on the MODs part. I started out with the idea of playing modded, and while I know that isn't probably the smartest idea when approaching a new game, and it's surely not helping me climb that learning curve, I like the modded approach a lot. I am finally, now, at a point where I think I'm reaching that level of mod balancing perfection with the mods I've installed so I fully get your point. It is indeed a very nice feeling.

Yay post #225!

15^2 :sticktongue:

I have had some perfect moments too, but I usually end up deleting my saves after so long. I remember I had a jet plane that could lift off from the runway and do a backflip without hitting the tarmac on the way down. That was an excellent plane.

I feel like mine would be perfect, except I'm missing Kethane and KAS. And I have a visual pack installed but planets that should have clouds do not :( Other than that it's great; my memory usage is very much under control thanks to OpenGL and I still have AA. Although...do you think that OpenGL has something to do with my clouds being invisible? I've already tried adding them again twice, I even deleted the ATM cache so it'd remake them.
