Biome map in Tracking Station?

maybe i am missing something but in the beta video on the home page right now where it shows the biomes in the tracking station seems like a cool feature, but cant find how to do it?

Was it just part of the test for the new biomes coding or am i missing a button.option somewhere. Full upgrade for tracking station?, but still cant do it in sandbox mode either?

It's technically a cheat debug option. Press Alt+F12 to open up the Cheat DEBUG Menu and look through the menus until you find the option for "show biomes in map view" and then check that.

The downside is that biomes will show up from high orbit when in flight too, which can get silly.

The Scansat mod is a good alternative, if you want to "work" to discover where biomes are.
