tips for a refueling station?

I made a long one and attempted to send it to Eve, but it started shaking so much I could have sworn Elvis was in there. would be nice if I sent something to Eve in the future if I could refuel whatever I sent after that. Could have left it in LKO, but eh, don't wanna do that. hehe

Use a wider part that is fatter. Make the station out of short fat stacks segments. Examples are the 2.5 M mono propellant instead of lots of 1.25M tanks. YOu have the option of 3.75 M tanks now for LFOx and unfortunately if you want a big xenon tank you will have to mod a stock tank to hold xenon. You can also use standouts, like XL MGS and use strut connectors.

People are very Gigantor-happy. You know you can pretty much do anything in stock except ion drives* with a single ox-stat, right? (Obviously some mods require high degree of power, particularly Interstellar)

* Well, ion drives that run continually. You can battery your way through many ion applications, especially if you get abusive with Z-400s. :/

Worse I have a electric power generator, its a equi-massive tradeoff for the fact that an equal amount of Gigantor power destroys the physics, and lag and Kraken are a plenty. I want to play the game, not fight the physics engine. Rule of thumb, keep your most massive parts close the the center of gravity of the space craft, use as few massive parts as possible, and cast off tanks that are empty shedding the parts count. As one poster stated, closing the panels has one more effect, it reduces drag.
