Some questions regarding mods.

Hi! I've been playing KSP for a (very) little while now, and decided to go full thrust on the modding of it (I like modding stuff, don't judge me :D).

So, the main question in this topic is related to Tech Tree mods:

I think that the stock tech tree won't be enough for the mods I'm adding, so I considered adding a mod for it, but I can't decide between ADIOS Tech Tree and the Community Tech Tree.

This is the list of mods I currently have, and also some of the big ones I'm considering adding in the near future:

Chatterer

Docking Port Alignment Indicator

Final Frontier

Kerbal Alarm Clock

Kerbal Engineer Redux

KW Rocketry

Mechjeb 2

Mission Controller 2

Procedural Fairings

ScienceAlert

Toolbar

Trajectories

TweakScale

And -to add-:

Kethane

¿KAS?

TAC-LS

B9 Aerospace

MKS/OKS

KSC++

Near Future Technologies

So, what would you choose? ADIOS or CTT?

Also, other questions:

Is that list too much? Are those mods all compatible with each other? Are there other mods you would recommend?

Thanks in advance!

(Please do tell me if the thread title is too vague and I'll change it! :))

EDIT: I think this belongs in the modding subforum. Sadly, I realized that moments after posting :(. Could a mod please move it?

I don't think anyone knows for sure if all those mods will be compatible. I suspect so because I use most of them, but the best approach is add one mod, try the game, add another mod, try the game, etc :)

I would recommend Karbonite over Kethane since it uses the Regolith framework which a number of other mods are also adopting. Kethane is rather old by comparison, and does not encourage interaction. (Also anything by Roverdude tends to be top notch and very solid.)

Personally I've been using Mod Oriented Tech Tree because it's design ethos makes sense in my head and it's pretty well coordinated. Suggest using a 40% science income and Contract Science Modifier to get a decent challenge with this tree. Other trees tend to be better way down at 10-20%.

For other mod ideas, this similar thread is also current :)

This thread is quite old. Please consider starting a new thread rather than reviving this one.
