FINALLY!!

After far longer than I'd planned, I have finally started the pixel part sheet that was requested.

I've posted a a number of images using this to show my creations here and here, but I'd like, anyone who wishes to, to post below any/all of your creations using the sheet with a short discription for each

To get the sheet, just right-click and "save as..."

*EDIT* Updated the sheet with more parts. also included some flames/engine exhaust

Please note; the scaling between parts is not perfect.

I will also keep adding any missing parts to this sheet. (or atleast the parts big enough to be seen here.)

These, as well as those drawings in the other thread, are pretty awesome. Getting the point across with a few pixels can be quite tricky, but here you've done that well.

Beat me to it! I worked on something similar to this (bigger size, more detail) for a couple of weeks but the file somehow got corrupted and I didn't have any backups.

I actually wanted to use my sprites for a pixel-art game like a mix between KSP and BARiS. You know, like... you would design the ships and the flying would be more intuitive than it was in BARiS, but still they would be humans, exploring OUR solar system, and it would be more like point-and-shoot instead of actively controlling the ships.

Missions taking time to complete, psychological trouble with the crews, Public Relations for the space agency (It's only one, and it's private. Good luck with your business), sketchy contracts from different governments, legit hardware failures and sabotage... things like these are what you would have to deal with in your goal of exploring the system.

Yeah, you could just do satellite launches and accept not-so-legal contracts to become a multi-billion company, but then people would start to see you as an evil corporation, boycott your products (brings down the rate at which contracts appear), and even get the government to cancel your program. Not so good, is it?

Going to unknown places and sending back data and pictures would obviously keep your reputation up. Obviously a live transmision from that awesome Phobos base would give you much more than one from that puny LEO station.

I would develop that game (would love to play it, I still boot up BARiS from time to time), but I'm too lazy to learn programming and haven't really got enough time this year.

It's been a while, but I finally managed to devote some time to updating this sheet.

I've started to work on the space plane parts now. need to double-check the hight of the Mk3 parts, but i'm working on it
