hi guys, me and my son found kerbal and downloaded it and so far we are having fun using it (just messing round seeing who can get the highest altitude)

i myself am getting my head around how it works. i can only do a basic rocket and would like to get better.

if you have any advice im all ears

Hello before the pub.

Advice;

1. Getting to space is easy - 69km+.

2. Getting into orbit so you stay in space is harder - read tutorials.

3. Start with small vehicles and simple missions.

4. Sandbox or science mode is much better for learning.

The strongest advice I can give you would be to look at the Gameplay Questions and Tutorials subforum. You can ask any sort of gameplay question there and it will be answered lickety-split by our armada of technician monkeys.

Furthermore, the Tutorials sub-subforum should be able to answer most basic questions regardless.
