Can't start/Load any type of game

As the Title says I can't start any type of game. I can get to the main menu and everything seems to work, but once I try to start a new game or load up and old one. All the buttons turn gray and I can't do anything but shut down the game. PLS help

Sounds like you're probably missing some folders, and/or the permissions aren't set properly. Where is KSP installed, and did you buy KSP from the Store, or through Steam?
