Conditions to revert flight

I'm still somewhat new to Kerbal, I've officially stranded jeb on the mun and am making plans to retrieve him at some point, but thats not what i'm here for now.

I'm currently working on the Exploring Kerbin type missions and am finding them harder than reaching orbit and the mun. I've had a few issues come up but for right now i'm curious as to what the actual conditions are for reverting your flights. Is there a breakdown of criteria that needs to be met? I've had a couple of things come up, realized i screwed up and tried to revert flight but the option is grayed out.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? I'm playing vanilla, no mods.

The option to revert is removed once you QuickLOAD. Quicksaving will not affect it.

It is also removed if you have launched your craft and then switched back to space center. When you return to the vessel after that, you can no longer revert.

There may be other conditions where it is removed as well.

Essentially, if you stop controlling the launched craft (go to the KSC scene, switch to another ship, dock [i think], etc.), then the option is removed.

I could very well be wrong, but I didn't think quicksaving disabled revert; can anyone check this (at work, so no KSP ).

The option to revert is removed once you Quicksave.

It is also removed if you have launched your craft and then switched back to space center. When you return to the vessel after that, you can no longer revert.

Nope I can still quicksave and than revert just fine.

I'm pritty sure revert is disabled once you switch focus to something else (quickLOAD, switch ship, go to space center, that kinda stuf)

My bad! I think it used to cancel out upon quicksaving. Oh well.
