Anyone know how to get Raster Prop Monitor to work with the MK2 cockpit?

The cargo bay is no good unless your going into space (unless your going to fly upside down of course). I use [0.25] Adjustable Landing Gear v1.0.4 for my planes.

Well you could pack it with science experiments; there's an option for 2-3 science Jrs and some biome hopping

Actually, it comes in very handy for several reasons:

1. Most importantly, it allows me to balance the COL and COM more easily

2. "you could pack it with science experiments" - eddiew << what he said!

3. Its great for those "test this part at such and such altitude" contracts, it gives me a place to put the part!

hellblazer isn't saying you shouldn't have a cargo bay, just that you should turn it upside down so you can drop things (probes, bombs, kerbals, whatever...) out while you're flying.
