The stages of ksp (Looking back on our favorite game.)

0.17 was the update that brought many new planets to us and should be marked separately in the OP.

I think that the eras of KSP are as follows:

0.1 - 0.7.2 = Proto-KSP (gradual development from a 2d rocket building and destruction game to old KSP)

0.7.2 - 0.11 = Old KSP (only Kerbin existed at that time)

0.12 - 0.13 = Classical KSP (while the visual appearance resembled that of Old KSP, 0.12 brought us the Mun and of many new features; I started playing KSP during 0.12)

0.14 = Early Middle KSP (revamp of the terrain; transistion from free to paid; possibility to fly multiple vessels)

0.15 - 0.16 = Middle KSP (addition of Minmus and of the Spaceplane Hangar as well as integration of the C7 aircraft parts mod into the stock game; 0.16 brought us EVA's)

0.17 = Late Middle KSP (The most important update was the addition of new planets as well as of the IVA function)

0.18 - 0.20 = Early Modern KSP (revamp of the terrain; addition of ion engines)

0.21 - 0.25 = Modern KSP (Many subtle but new features; development starts to slow with regular smaller updates and occasional large updates)

0.90 = Late Modern KSP (The prelude to 1.0)

1.0 and onwards = New KSP (Full version!)

Here are my thoughts:

0.0-0.6.5 = The Kerbal Bang; KSP concept brought to life.

0.6.5-0.11 = First Jebediah is born; The tweaking and editing of editors and Kerbin surface

0.11-0.14 = First Krakens form, including the Mainsail way; The destruction of Mun KSC after 2 versions of creation.

0.14-0.14.3 = The star Danny2462 implodes, paving a way for Kerbol; Demo release and Mun KSC raids cease with the looting of new technology

0.15-0.17 = Planets form around Kerbol; KSC and it's sister location is complete along with C7 integration

0.17-0.20 = (Possible)Planet appeared from remnants of alien civilization; Addition of planets, a cancelled B9 integration and plans for space center update.

0.20-0.25 = Kerbals migrate from Sea and find rocket technology; New KSC, rockets and plane parts, ARM created in coop with NASA, future path getting ironed out and made clear

0.90 = Jebediah is born and Valentina a year later; New ui, more parts and main bits nearly done.

1.0-1.1 = START THE SHIPPING!; New aero, performance upgrade, basically a new KSP

I'll edit the rest later..
