Is there any mod regarding animations of kerbals?

In Skyrim for example, there are many mods adding animations to PC or NPCs. there are even lots of dancing things

Mod that controls the face animations and emotions are also available. Those are very good for entertainment and useful for cinematic videos

Then suddenly I found that I never saw such mod for KSP, is it simply I missed them or there are restrictions for such mod due to the Unity or the game itself?

There are plenty of prop and reskinning mods, but no idea about animations.

Reposting my response from another thread asking for something similar:

DSSP authored an unfinished (and since abandoned) plugin that allows independent manipulation of each joint in a Kerbal's skeleton, as well as rudimentary recording and playback capability. So yes, custom animations for Kerbals are definitely possible.

While technically possible, DSSP never finished his work, nor has he released any source code.
