Big Brother spy probes :) - Geostationary orbits

Thought I'd try out the geostationary stuff.

The whole lot is remote controlled

Making the 'sky-truck' - looks like something out of a James Bond movie

A future idea (excuse the pun) for probing the outer planets

First satellite is on it's way from the mothership.

The different orbits - 1st probe in position just above KSC (good for remote control of other rockets)

and so the 'spying'.. err!! Communcation begins

I think I'll extend this idea into the current system.. nice cheap way of exploring.

'Manned' flight will come later.

Dumped all 6 probes.. phew! what a mission to get the orbits just right..

Something has to be done about those jumping peri and apo points.

This should cover Kerbin.. we've got your every move

4 satellites in the equatorial plane, 2 at opposite angles

That remote computer is very valuable you know... it must come back!!

Just as well these things float.. also close enough to KSC to be picked by rowing boat.

Getting better all the time.

This time I wrapped the satellites into a capsule - This'll work nicely when/if V1.0 come with aerodynamic forces and friction.

At the moment I'm doing everything manually..

Toned down all the decoupling forces..

Decoupling... Takes about a minute or two to get away from the ship - nice-n-slow

Too powerful a charge and it blows all the equipment to pieces

Pop all the other pieces off..

And we're ready for launch..
