Ingame part creator

The welding mod has shown me that smaller parts can be welded together into large ones, Why not do this for the stock game?

I imagine a new editor building for part creation, and it would have these little partlets unique to it, You could build your part out of these partlets, And then weld them to gether and import the new part in the VAB/SPH this would be good for career mode, It would require science to research your part before you could use it, And all of the current stock parts? Since their made by private aerospace firms you would have to buy the rights to use them through the mission control.
