Help with mining detectors - MKS/OKS

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I remember when previous versions of KSP, I could see the orange bubbles of the resources to mine.

I already tried everything but when I use the scanners (KA-100 Detection Array / Planetary Survey Camera) for example on Kerbin or the Mun, nothing shows up. When I right click on the scanners I only see the info in the form of % amount per biome or in general.

I do not know if I screw something with other mods on my KSP install or something else changed in the mod or in CRP.

If there is anyone there that uses MKS/OKS MODS can you please confirm or deny that something changed in the mod and the bubbles are gone, or something is wrong with my mods installation or I screw something.

Thank you.

Tech. data:

Windows 7 64bits

Running KSP 32bits.

Mods:

All mods are up to date except Regolith that a new version came out today. I know this because KSP-AVC told me. But this thing already goes for a while.

Hi

Orange hot-spot bubbless are gone. Karbonite is now biome based. Without mods you can read concentrations by right-clicking detector. Alternatively you can survey karbonite deposites from orbit using SCANsat.

I too was scratching my head when i first installed Karbonite on sunday. RoverDude's Karbonite thread is huge and some information is hard to "dig" out :)

I asked about it on the MKS/OKS thread and one guy also told me that. Never used Scansat, always saw it a bit complicated. Well I guess it is time to learn.

I miss the old bubbles lol.

This thread is quite old. Please consider starting a new thread rather than reviving this one.
