KSP Weekly: The Lunar Greenhouse
SpicyDesertPlanet replied to SQUAD's topic in KSP1 The Daily Kerbal
I really like this idea. It would be great if it applied to land bases as well. I think some players could do some really creative things with customly placed launch sites or runways. -
KSP Weekly: The Lunar Greenhouse

Because I've been playing this game since the Alpha days, whenever new releases come out laden with bugs and new-old problems, I always take it with a grain of salt, because this game is a low-budget beta, right? Wait. 1.0 came out in 2015? And they're owned by Take 2 now? That being said, KSP is probably my favorite game. It has soo much potential to be absolutely amazing, so it's a little disappointing that it still feels like a low-budget beta. -

@linuxgurugamer You are my hero. Last time I checked, you are responsible for version upkeep for about half of the mods I use. You are a pillar of the KSP community, and your total radness really helps KSP shine like the gem it is. THANK YOU SO MUCH!! -
Nice! Looking forward to a Dunian Glacier mining mission.

JoolTube: Progression of Kerbalkind!
SpicyDesertPlanet replied to SQUAD's topic in KSP1 The Daily Kerbal
Yea, I'm convinced the kerbals are all clones. Which is why they're all called "kermin" and why it takes a bit for them to re-spawn without any of their old experience. -
I'm stoked for 1.4 goodies. Any guesses on what they might be? Personally, I think new new science tech would be cool. I'd love some kinda stock surface science experiments that require having a kerbal on the surface somewhere. Too often I take hours building a complex mission to some far off place that ends with Jeb planting a flag, maybe flying around on jetpack for a few minutes, then it's back in the spacecraft and back to Kerbin. It would be great if there was something built in to the planets/moons that you could actually interact with.

I wonder if the conductor would be kind enough to steer the train for a good view of the SpaceX CRS-8 launch today. I'm so excited for all the new parts packs that I'm going to put into my game with all this bonus ram squad is giving us! -

@Spaceboy720 There's a small button next to the Kerbal portraits in the lower right that when pressed, allows you to see into any part that has IVA capabilities. -

I swore I got off at the Mexihype City station, but due to some kind of relativistic hype effects, I keep finding myself back on the hype train. 1.1 IS GOING TO BE AMAZING! HYPE! -

Mun Shuttle! Weird landing leg/gear bug made landing smoothly very difficult. I can't believe how smooth everything runs! -

Is it time to stage the Hype-erdrives? Combine the Hype-ergolics? Hype the Hype? Yes.
