Creepy Bug with the IVA

So I went to IVA, and tried to get to third person mode. I thought it was left click and drag around, but instead, this is what I saw:

I saw my ship...... next to me in IVA!
When I went back to IVA, it was gone.
When I exited, went back, left clicked, it was back.
How does this happen????
It's in 1.0.5, is it one of my mods?

In all seriousness, It is probably the camera still thinking you are outside. Is it like it's outside, or when you move the camera, the "Plane" moves?
