Cannot load asset bundles? (.ksp files)

I have been trying to load some .ksp files, but so far no luck, it fails for no apparent reason...

I followed the code in sarbian's post, but wathever i do i get this error: "Cannot find bundle definition with name 'EngineLight/enginelight'... (The .ksp filed is placed at GameData/EngineLight/enginelight.ksp)

 

I believe i packaged the assets (a Unity prefab) correctly, added them to a assetbundle and used the part-tools to build the .ksp file, then placed it in the gamedata directory and wrote code to load it. (Exactly the same as sarbian's but inside a singleton class, and made to extract gameobjects instead of shaders)

The 'auto' checkbox in the packager is disabled, but enabling it does not help.

Are you by any chance not using Unity 5.2.4 ? Had the same issue during pre-release and found out that if you create the asset-bundle in a different unity version i won't load into the game.

Well, that was it... Using 5.3.2, updated too much 

It's nice Unity provides old downloads.

EDIT: Also, for anybody having this issue, remeber to set your .NET to 3.5 in visual studio. Otherwise the asset loader itself will fail!

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!

i reinstalled my game for a fresh start after my loading screen stopped at "loading asset bundle definitions" its still there after the reboot, i have no idea how to fix it!!! please help, i cant do anything im on steam and PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
