Bug: switching to map view during launch changes control-from-here point

Has anyone encountered a bug wherein the control-from-here point changes during in launch when pressing M to switch to map-view?

I get this a lot driving around with a rover. It's very frustrating to check map view for a second and come back to find your rover going crazy because it doesn't know which way is up.

Yep, same here.  This is particularly annoying when you've got multiple docking ports on a craft and control suddenly changes to a port at right angles to the thrust vector.  I find this doesn't happen if you click on the correct part and then Control From Here before each maneuver.
