RPM sensor

There are a lot of engineering guys out there who would love to take it to the next level. An RPM sensor would be terrific.

Applications:

  • GUI readout.
  • Constant speed propeller (changes propeller pitch to keep engine RPM at max torque).
  • RPM limiter.
  • Piston engines: ignition timing control.
  • Turboshaft engines: blower angle control.
  • Automatic transmission: gear change.
  • Sounds: propeller, transmission whine, turbine whine, intake/exhaust rumble, mechanical noise.

Most ideal situation:

  • Any part can be designated to be measured.
  • Possibility to use action groups within defined RPM limits.
  • Possibility to define a sample with pitch/volume control.

Eternal fame awaits you, the developer of such a plugin.
