I'm pretty sure Tom Hanks's forehead isn't that tall in real life. He sort of looks like a not as obese version of Kim-Jong-Un.

Well! Good thing I've owned the Blu-Ray copy of Apollo 13 for years now, I think my copy has an actual photograph of Tom Hanks in the Command Module during the launch. Much better looking than... Apollo 13: The Animated Series

It does sort of reminds me of one of those unauthorized knockoff versions of blockbuster movies made in Italy or China, such as Titanic: The Lengend Goes On

There's other odd going on - the 20th Anniversary edition (which is still available from Best Buy, so I don't know what edition this is) bills Bacon, Paxton, Sinise, and Harris, as well as Hanks. And has a tagline. And the "a RON HOWARD film" thing. This is missing all of that. Isn't that stuff required to be present? Something's fishy beyond bad art.

Yeah, looks nothing like my DVD copy.

1. Yeah, I still prefer DVD. I have a large collection, I don't mind how they look upsampled into HD, and I certainly don't mind how cheap you can get them used.

2. How'd I guess that the KSP forum members would be more likely on average to own a copy of this movie. It is the best Hollywood spaceflight film to date, by most people's criteria.

Think about this way: someone genuinely thought it was a good idea. Or, they didn't care so much that they said, "Meh."

It may be a bad cover, but it doesn't fall under "tragic" for me.
