Discussion No Longer Useful

I'd say you severely underestimate the complexitiy and scale of what you are proposing.

Space elevator? Not possible on Earth without some breakthrough in material sciences.

Weather control? You speak of it as if it was a TV remote control.

Terraformin Venus? And in 20 years? How?

What are synthplants?

Is the fact that we haven't already terraformed and colonized Venus the only reason why we still haven't "developped space/time tools"?

KSP is a game, not a simulation. Most of the stuff you talk about in your post is science fiction and technobabble.

KSP is a relatively decent spaceflight simulator (and can be vastly improved with the Realism Overhaul mods).  Unfortunately, almost none of the science fiction technobabble in the original post dealt with spaceflight and directly related issues.  The game you are looking for are Civilization [and Alpha Centrauri/Beyond Earth] and they do absolutely zero to model the science and engineering necessary.

Terraforming Venus isn't a bad idea, but think in terms of 200 or more likely 2000 years (and probably much more).  Consider the shear amount of industrialization needed to raise the Earth's temperature a few degrees C, and then imagine the required effort to lower Venus' temperature.

This is an international forum, so I don't really see it as appropriate vector for "national interests".

There is zero interest in colonizing planets, let alone terraforming them. Space elevators are a cool theoretical concept, but they have been repeatedly proven as wildly impractical. Solar sails are similarly a nice concept, but SEP is still much more practical.

As for getting NASA to fund a Mexican-based game company to turn KSP into a simulation, I really don't see the purpose when NASA has plenty of their own simulation applications. You could try Orbiter as a more realistic simulation engine. Have you even asked Squad if they are interested in your idea ?

Games are simulators.

-snip-

And right off the bat you appear to be confused.  Tell me, what is Pac-Man a simulator for?  Or Tetris?  Angry Birds?

Video Games ARE NOT THE SAME as Simulators.

One is a game, which means it is designed to be enjoyed.

One is a simulation, which means it is designed to be realistic.

They ARE NOT the same thing, and, very often, the more realistic it is, the less fun it is.

Frankly I'm concerned that more and more often, people are having a difficult time separating fiction from reality.

the best place to start an elevator is here:

https://www.google.fr/maps/@35.8805824,76.51201,308m/data=!3m1!1e3

still there 60km or so to go, good luck with https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Strength_of_materials ^^ and eventually interstage flexible/rivet node + zepp//balloon ... <= don't forget to make thoose secure enough //height&weight mr.8

I am either particularly slow today, or you make no sense.

Inverted pyramids, counter rotating rings, low orbit, high orbit, atmosphere... it's all incoherent mess.

No, you had it right... it's just an incoherent mess of technobabble.

at some (h)eight it's either, interstage, "solar panel proppelled" ((? ¿ (( ion+3000years tek)) )) interstage, or nothin' ... so well ... may be in 850 years , before prolly not ^^

still good luck with the first step " " ;

You realize that we have dreamed (technically) about human interplanetary mission since 18th century yet we haven't move anywhere ?

Another plan study or simulation won't change anything. Research into feasibility, if any, will just change another hill of obstacle.
