It seems to have some real detail in the gameplay, while keeping really simple. I\'ve wanted a game like this for so long. Even though I\'d prefer 3d, having a 2d interface keeps it nice and simple. See how they can set how the laser sweeps the enemy for example. Or how they need to fight on board fires while working the controls. A sick bar for crew too!

This kind of interactivity would be great mixed with KSPs type of ship building. Granted, I think it would ruin KSP to go this far with it\'s current design. But I can hope it\'s done one day right!?

The video tells me so little I\'d have to download it to even know whether or not it\'s any good. So far I know it uses a similar interface system to that of older Dungeon Crawler RPGs from what I can recall, which frankly sounds excruciatingly boring for a space game.

Lol. It\'s 'different' enough for me to support and like both. If it\'s any consolation, by the looks of it, there is no construction support. So it\'s purely about crew and systems simulation, not flight or building.

I\'ve checked out the Demo to Galactic Civ 2, and it\'s just wrong on so many levels. So KSP is defiantly the no1 still!

Don\'t bother. I mean, it\'s a fun game and all, but it needs multiplayer to really shine, because the AI is too easy to kill.

Yep. Tried the demo of GC2, was not impressed. Even the ship building was not as good as KSP. For an Alpha, KSP still outshines most released games!
