  1. So! We meet again! Ok, so I cant remember you, 1/10 because of slight familiarity
  2. Thanks for the help. To note: - I put the wheels on the main fuselage, or on the wings next to the fuselage. - I try ASAS, but somehow it isn't enough... Anyways, I'll put these ideas into my rocket and hope it works. Thank you
  3. For all those not at uni: If you want some lectures about mechanics, try these (high school maths needed). http://www.cosmolearning.com/courses/801-physics-i-classical-mechanics/ Lecture 22 is very good for KSP! (Now I just need to make a good rocket)
  4. Hello. I have been trying to make many space planes, but I cant get them off the ground due to an odd phenomenon. When the "launch" loads, there is a wait of 10 seconds or so before the plane drops onto the runway (from straight and level o how it would be in reality). But the issue is this gives the plane some momentum to the left or right. I stop this before launch, but by the the plane is pointing a degree or so off center, and when I try to take off it just veers to the side and crashes! If I correct, I find that it is either not enough or it goes madly between left and right... Anybody know anything that can help?
  5. This may have been mentioned (or done!), but I think that having a menu where you could get facts on Kerbin would be useful. For example: Mass, radius, rotation speed. Just useful facts for planning a voyage. Also, you know how we can switch between orbital and surface speed? I think that changing the altimeter so that it has a altitude above surface setting, and an altitude over centre of mass setting may also help. If this has been done or I'm being silly then please ignore this post.
  6. Many thanks! Now, how do I get that rocket to work...
  7. All I can say is thank you, you have really helped me get into this game :-)
  8. Hello, I used to be here for a short time a while back, but seemed to go missing somewhere... Anyways, Good to be here, anything interesting happen lately?
  9. oh we did, but then there is nothing to break the spacecrafts fall
  10. no lts give this one a designation.

  12. one word to all of you... Overpowered.
  13. Ben... You seem to have forgotten, this is the KERBAL SPACE PROGRAM.
  14. If you use the method I described before, but aim higher, say 12,000,000m then you can enter orbit.
  15. to get to the moon without any lunar orbits at all, go for a Kerbin orbit that goes just past the mun\'s (before going to about 100k from Kerbin). This can be done in one shot. If this is done right, on the second orbit of Kerbin, you will get near the perikee and then fall towards the moon, almost straight down.
  16. nah, thats really not an issue, the ASAS will actually keep you alive. My rocket goes through a 2/3 turn at liftoff, ASAAS overcompensates but soon goes well.
  17. erm, it appears you onl tried small boosts. You should have just put on full throtle and enjoyed the ride.
  18. I win, and will always win, for I will always post.
  19. square root -1 and give me a real answer before posting.
