  1. I believe I heard somewhere, Squad are planning to do a major improvement to the wheels "soon". "soon" could be a century or a second. deal with it. When I want to know if I'm landing on land or the sea when coming back to Kerbin, I always come back when its Night time. so I can't see.
  2. I was using my KRS Daedalus (Kerbal Rescue Service) to pick up Jeb who got stranded on the Mün. Unfortunatly when i pressed the x key to cut my engines, it didn't stop (thanks to my 4 year old keyboard) in the end, when it did stop, I had a encounter with Minmus, my periapsis at 50km, I burnt into orbit, and landed, and managed to get back to my CSS (Crete Space Station) and then got picked up by my BCT (Bystander Crew Transport). I was planning on doing a Minmus mission, but kept having problems (not enough fuel, not enough thrust, not enough manoeuvrability etc.)
  3. KRS Daedalus, Kerbal Rescue Service Daedalus. saved Jeb on my first, and failed attempt to get to the moon. I landed, but the engine broke due to landing at high speeds and misplaced landing gear. The KRS Daedalus is suitable for rescue operations in Kerbins sphere of influence
  4. Yep. Thats the most obvious, just build a ship which is good enough to get the krakens attention, then it'll wake up.

On another post (worst crash/bug post) I wrote this Just completed my HUGE Space station (PRSS, Particle Research Space Station) in a 320 KmX321Km orbit (based of the ISS) it has part of of 1120 (approx.) then sent one about half the size to the Mun. then sent one just smaller than the IMSS (Intergalactic Munar Space station) to Minmus (MMFCS, Minmus Mint Food Co. Station) went back to the Space Center to admire my work, then I looked and they were not there, restarted not there. There were 120 Kerbals on the PRSS, 70 on the IMSS, and 63 on the MMFCS, I have about I have about 250 Kerbals M.I.A I'm dreading the end of the week when I have to write reports, so far I've Sent all the engineers, scientists etc. (everybody who knows about this) to space and put bugs on the communication program. I'll have to take them down so though, otherwise when they do discover it, KSP's rep will go down, if they find out another 500 kerbals have been sent up their against their will, most likely we will be shut down.

  8. yes ANOTHER! Thanks! Does that mean that Unity will make another version of the engine that will include a stable build of 64-bit? And if so are the devs waiting for it, or even thinking about turning the game into 64-bit
  9. I've been wondering for a bit now: Will Squad use the new Unity 5? A game like this doesn't belong in 32-bit area (meaning it can only use 2GB) and 2GB? With a game like this, I would be pleased if they upgraded to 64-bit, because at the moment KSP lags quite a lot (I know there are some people who have found ways to counteract this, or have super computers) for me. Thanks in advance!

Well First i look at its goals, how far its going, then part count, and Kerbal count (or none at all) So lets say its going to Jool With 300 parts and 7 kerbals. so Jool is one of the farthest planets but not the farthest making it Ba (where A is farthest and B is not so far, more letters are included if going to moons or multiple destinations) part count is relatively large so its Bal ( where L is lots and A is not so many) and 7 kerbals is relatively simple so 7th letter is G its Balg and its meant to explore Jool so Balg Explorer, only read on if you want to know names for going to Jools Moons Pol: Distance Ba (As its in Jools SOI) Bae ( as its the furthest moon of Jool and the 5th e = 5th letter) Bae part count 350 so Baen and 3 Kerbals Is Baenc but Baenc doesn't sound right so i move it one letter further and its Baend ( if it doesn't sound right i do that to all my ships) Bop: Distance Ba (Jool SOI) Bad 4th Moon of Jool Part count 350 Badn 1 Kerbal, Badna Station Tylo: Distance Ba (Jools SOI) Bac 3rd Moon of Jool Part count 400 Bco Kerbals 1, Bacoa Explorer Vall: Ba ( Jool SOI) Bab Part count 20 Babh Kerbals None = Babh 1 ( 1 is unmanned probe 3 is unmanned station 5 is unmanned lander 7 is unmanned Spaceplane, etc. Laythe Ba (Jool SOI) Baa part count 500 Baast ( after it goes further than o with part count i choose any 2 letters i like) Kerbals 12 (3 Hitchhikers) Baastl Base ( if its a giant mission i usually name it after Roman and Greek Gods and Heroes
  11. Nah, I use MJ for Delta V, thanks i'll have to change that in the rules. And i'll check out the links. EDIT: By the way when you do complete the challenge you don't mind me adding you to scoreboards do you i'll look through all the things you've done and add points depending on the difficulty of doing it, and you have to do a lot more things, and you don't mind me stealing a few of those rules do you? (Like the landing the probe and some others)
  12. Now that you put it that way, yeah There wouldn't be any land to land on in Kerbin, and the mun would most likely be worn down to a regular rock
  13. Hey just a thought, If you were to crash a asteroid into the nuns surface, would it create a new crater? EDIT : oops, Mun not nuns.
