  1. It looks fine to me. Great job @Taipan The pictorial version can be found in KSPedia which is the book icon with a rocket on the cover. Under controls, you will find a section that shows all of the control mappings. KSPedia is almost full screen and there is a pause button top right that will cease the game while you browse.
  2. That's great @Gutterboy44, but please be aware that the (?) button is context sensitive, so is liable to change depending on where you are in the game. That particular menu is while you're in flight for example.
  3. There is also KSPedia, again within the game, but shows the controls laid out relative to the physical controller. Each topic shows the control mapping pictorially. We can look into providing a cheat sheet, but if you have a printer, taking a screenshot of the open KSPedia screens and printing them may be viable in the short term.
  4. While the console does have mouse support, KSP does not incorporate this as an input method (on consoles) at present.

  6. What is happening is the parts in the background are setting the mode to surface attach. There are a few techniques available to avoid this. 1. Ensure the part is orientated in the same direction as the part to which you wish to connect. 2. Use the ALT (on windows) modifier to force a node attachment 3. Orient the camera so there are no other parts behind the pointer Any, or all of these will allow a correct attachment..
  7. You have been such a good friend to Kerbal Space Program in every way, and I know the team and the community will miss you you more than you may realise. On a personal note; I owe you a debt of gratitude for your part in my involvement in its ongoing development. It's been a pleasure to work with you. Thank you, and farewell friend.
  8. Thanks for the issue and the video. These really do help in identifying the behaviour you describe.
  9. I have a lump in my throat right now, but I know whatever it is you do next, it will be brilliant! Farewell Felipe
  10. Does anyone have a savegame that shows this problem please? Even a screenshot of the relative orbits would be useful in narrowing down under what circumstances this happens.
  11. Sorry to read that you are experiencing this. Unfortunately, without logs we can only speculate on the cause. If you are using Steam, verify file integrity. Double check that there are no forgotten mods installed. The log files will show what is being loaded, and where it is stalling., so attaching or lInking to them would enable us to help you further.
  12. @smjjames My lab needed reorganising and I thought more shelving was a good idea. Moving stuff around meant that somehow I twisted a finger badly. When it went blue, a trip to the hospital revealed it was indeed broken. Moral? Heavy computing can be bad for your health kids. @Alshain A patch and 1.2 are two different things. The patch will be dealing with fixes for the current bugs only. No new content is planned for this, and as you rightly point out, would only serve to complicate matters further. The delayed features are still destined for 1.2, and there are some nice upstream Unity fixes and improvements that we would like to take advantage of too.
  13. Thanks for the save @tsaven We have recently introduced more measures to protect against corrupt saves and identify how mods can affect them, however, it looks like you have uncovered a situation where this isn't quite working as it should. The combination of the log and the save helps us track the problem down, and is indeed due to a reference to a part that doesn't exist as Claw suggested. I'm pleased that you were able to isolate it, both for your continued career game and our fault finding. Thanks.
  14. Hi tsaven, Would you mind attaching one of the savegame folders that's been created but not showing, together with at least one that you have imported? Does this also happen if you remove the imported saves and simply attempt to create a new game?
  15. Log files and the output from dxdiag will help us in diagnosing the problem. Please do refer to the help topic on where to find and generate these files.
  16. Open settings.cfg in a text editor UNSUPPORTED_LEGACY_SHADER_TERRAIN = True As the name implies, this is no longer supported, hence the reason for its removal from the ingame settings. Graphics glitches may occur with its use, so beware.
  17. Thank you for the information. It is indeed, and the reason why I asked for further information rather than making assumptions. It is an unfortunate reality of Linux support - in general - and we tried very hard to fix this issue for 1.1. A further upgrade to Unity3D promises to help with this somewhat, but the real results won't be known until that occurs. If the workarounds allow KSP to be played in the meantime, then please mark this as resolved so others may benefit? TLDR: We are aware of the problems with some driver and hardware combinations on Linux. Partial workarounds are available. [Edit to add] Add the -force-glcore to the start up parameters on Steam, or to the commandline otherwise.
  18. Hello there, Could you attach your logs and hardware specification please? Certain graphics drivers are known for this, so please also let us know which you use?
  19. The fix for negative time was made too late for the publishing of Devnotes so you see the last vestiges of that bug. Call it a momentary time slip. It probably won't happen again
  20. You know the next verse. Let's start a band...
  21. Yay moar hype! Poetic testing: Load KSP. Test. Load KSP. Test Load KSP. Test Load KSP. Test ... Soon it will end. Wibble

  23. The issue tracker for this can be found here The problem is confirmed, but all further information including logs, saves and craft files are most welcome. Especially for those instances where the clamps are fully on the pad. Given that there are community fixes and the save/load methods of workaround, perhaps this thread could be marked as such?
