  1. Sorry for the necro, but is there any more news on this mod?
  2. Why are some user accounts marked as 'guest', such as in this thread? Also, is there a way of finding the first post a user made?
  3. Yeah, me too, only have one infraction that was a notice (luckily) so didn't carry any points with it. I originally thought it was rep for a witty post, but it was an infraction instead
  4. I learned that Sodium Hydroxide is not something you want on your hands! I also learned about the existence of Polar Clock: (http://blog.pixelbreaker.com/polarclock) an awesome screensaver
  5. I had a loss a few years back, with a pet rabbit that had to be put down after 6 months of having it, due to him having severe pains, so i can feel for your loss. Sorry for your loss, RIP daniels cat.
  6. Ker-Bull (gives you wings)
  7. You could add a scanner for orbital surveys, although I don't see why you would want a mining operation on eve...
  8. The i5 6600k should be better for KSP as it has the highest clock speed. As the current ksp only has single threading for physics, raw clock speed is more important. However, with 1.1 and U5 multithreading then performance should be better in general. You could also create a poll for this thread, should be under 'thread tools.' As for me, i can't upgrade the CPU as i have a laptop, a pretty good one though. Also, welcome to the KSP forums!
  9. Here's a tip: if you use windows 8+, add your ksp save folder to a library, then enable file history to backup changes to an external HDD or NAS drive every 10 minutes, so losses should be minimal. It has been a lifesaver for me in the past where a craft file becomes corrupted or you restore the wrong quicksave and lose progress. If it happens, simply close the game and use file history to restore the most recent non-affected backup of the file, then restart KSP.
  10. After convincing Jeb to get off the VAB as KSC needed it, he soon found a new toy:
  11. 1.1 should have a stable 64 bit version, so the 3.5GB memory limit should no longer be an issue.
  12. Just tested the surface launched tomahawk cruise missile and have encountered an issue that affects all bdarmory cruise missiles, which is that they usually overspeed and fail to hit the target. To correct this issue, i have made the following modifications to its config to make it work: - Doubled turn rate (dps) from 29 to 58 - Reduced Cruise thrust to 15kn This seems to correct the issue. I recommend a cruise altitude of 475m, although others may work better. Not sure if anyone else has encountered this issue, but i have put it up here anyway as it may help. Thanks for making such a great mod!
  13. On top of the VAB, claiming that he is king!
  14. I have a feeling that it is because space is a vacuum, therefore heat is more difficult to get rid of as conduction and convection do not work in a vacuum. The only way that heat can be removed in a vacuum is radiation.
  15. I don't know much about Dx11/12 so can't help you there. As for 1.1, Squad doesn't give release dates, with the exception of KSP 1.0.
  16. Another suggestion, a nuclear warhead nosecone. Not like the mirv, but something that you put on the end of a missile. (Just like in regular bdarmory)
  17. Yes, i think so, although you can edit the receiver part .cfg and change the line "GNSSacronym = NONE" to anything other than "NONE".This will make crafts with that word in its name act as figaro GNSS satellites.
  18. What happens to a users account if it is banned? Are they not allowed to login or is it just a posting ban?
  19. Bill is an engineer with high stupidity, blame him. Your parachutes fail.
