  1. Leg 2 is now up, following up shortly with Leg 3
  2. Nice craft there Starwhip, certainly puts mine to shame! Anyways, from one boat user to another, good luck on the seas!
  3. Alright, small update: Legs 2,3, and 4 are done, currently located near the range of mountains just before the polar ice caps. My page is soon to be updated. BTW, does anyone know a good map image so I can record my progress efficently?
  4. Alright, best of luck to you, and I hope to hear more about your journey in the near future.
  5. Fengist, as requested, there is now a separate thread up for my attempt. Also, will there be a badge for this challenge in the future or no?
  6. I have been requested to make a sub-thread-forum-thingy in the Mission Reports to record this Epic, really long and boring journey. So, without further ado, I bring to you lovely people........ THE ELCANO CHALLENGE: BOB_SAGET54 EDITION For this challenge, you need to take a rover, boat, or combination of both and travel around the world by any route you choose, except through the air. My entry was a boat that is capable of a max speed of 80 meters per second with over 1200 units of fuel. BE WARNED: This journey will be extremely boring, with lots of water, boating, and some sad moments to go along with it. Follow at your own risk! (JK, but I am not kidding about the boring part) Post will be updated daily with new legs and developments. Leg I - The Adventure begins! Leg II - Floating Water and Generous Jeb NOTICE: I am aware that the Kerbal in the scout plane is NOT Jebidiah. That will be fixed in Leg III.
  7. Alright, the images have come in from HQ, time for my attempt. The vehicle I will be using is a replica/copy/remake of Kanil's LSED, only with an enlarged fuselage, wider pontoons and extra fuel tanks on the pontoons. I call it the Waterhopper Mk. VI. Kanil, if you are reading this, I apologize for using your basic concept, it is an amazing machine and I thought it could use some modifications to give it some longer range. Anyways, time for the images!
  8. Alright, I'm going to try this out but use B9 just for sake of internals and looks. XD I highly doubt that I will be able to beat any of your times
  9. Heh, I bet. I just gave up and walked away after about the 3 hour mark. XD Anyways, good luck!
  10. Alright, here is my entry: Anyways, i didn't know if there were any rules or restrictions on the size of the plane, so I just went with a standard glider. It would have flown much longer but I was really freaking bored because it was flying for 4.5 Kerbal hours.
  11. Alright, here is my attempt at this challenge: The plane was a ***** to land on the mountain, and I don't even know how I did it. Anyways, total time was 5 hours and 40 minutes in Kerbal time for the entire trip. Jeb and Bob are quite happy with the results
