    The glass is twice the size it needs to be.

    The "confetti" fairings are there for the protection of your vessel. The many parts have less chance of hitting your own vessel than two big ones.

      you can change it anytime by turning on advanced tweakables in the settings and than than after placing the fairing just turn on clamshell deploy
