  1. Ok... tried the thing with the config file... tried to reinstall the game once more from scratch and now I am giving up. And I really have to stop to come here and look at those beautiful pictures as I get more and more envious I wish you all the best and thank everybody who tried to help me.
  2. Thank you for looking into it! Yes I have. Both with a spaceship and an aircraft. No effect. I am going with the hint JonnyOThan. Thank you I will try this.
  3. I believe you. This sounds like a common mistake. But I have only one copy of the game and that is in the Steam Lib. If somebody wants to take a look I would be thankfull My GameData Folder https://imgur.com/a/KjUjNfC My KSP.log Filebin | wxnx7uuzq8uajlgl (Expires in 6 days) I think it might just be a setup problem in the configuration... as there are no errors or warnings popping up at startup. There are some settings I can't set up in settings screen like "shader quality", it stays at "high". I set it to "ultra", save settings and next time I start up the game they are back to "high"...
  4. I tried that. No impact. I deleted it from Steam locally and reinstalled a clean installation without any mods. No impact. I am sure there is a solution that is not mentioned yet like "you have to edit this file and that file and then say bibbidi bobbidi boo" and it will work. But I don't have time to learn how you write some decend mods that work for this game... so I depend on something like: here is the download, copy this to that folder and thats it.
  5. This is the one of the biggest things with this game. Those mods never... ever work. In this case there is no impact at all...
  6. @Sigma88 Thank you. The mod is working now. What worked for me was the following: Don't start the game from "Steam" after a clean install but start it _once_ from the exe in the folder. After that, it works, even if started from Steam... Why? I don't know... I had the problem that everytime I asked steam to check the files _one_ file was "wrong" and reloaded from steam. Maybe those issues are related? I LOVE this mod! Great work!
  7. @Padishar Thank you but I did those steps already (I reinstalled the game, reduced the mods to the dependencys the installertool recommended etc....) except for the logfile... I will check the log but I doubt that I will find anything useful.
  8. I would love to see this mod working. But of course (as most cool mods) this does not work on my computer. (The mod is just ignored... even if I do a reinstall of the game and start a fresh "sandbox" game) Is there any sign that a mod is "accepted" by the game or can I see the reasons why a mod is not accepted?
  9. Hello! Maybe this is the right place to ask that kind of question. I tried to make an upgradable station and I like the idea of building spcaeships... in space. So I came up with a "factory" making it easy to put together parts in space... this thing would be huge and consist of very small parts (as I can only lift up very small parts into space at this point in my career). I am using career mode. I constructed something like this O - O - O | | | O - O - O | | | O - O - O Every part is connected with 2 clamp-o-trons and carried into space one by one. Up there I tried to stick together the clamp-o-trons and it worked! However... when I came back a few "ingame-days" later the thing messed up like this: O - O - O | / | O - O - O / | | O - O - O The "/" shows where parts did "disconnect" somehow (how?) on one side. (other side is still connected to the station) I was not able to "reconnect" it in space. I could bring up a few of my "shunting yard space ships" and fix ist (but that would take a lot of time and money). I think if I solve the problem the next time I come back it would appear once more. Maybe it has to do with the size of the clamp-o-trons (I have only the "medium" size at this point in the career). It would be nice if anybody has an idea what caused the "disconnect" of the clamp-o-trons. Is it a "bug"? I expected the desing to end up much larger...
