  1. hey guys I just posted a copy of this in the Original patch thread, but since some of you wanted to use this thread, it might be relevant here too. So here it is. Have anyone tried my "how to corrupt the game in 5 minuttes" yet? I'm not wasting more time on this until its confirmed a fix, so if anyone starting a New career wanna try, please do. What i did was, as I've said before- Start New career (maybe give some Researchpoints so you can easily build larger ships from start for this test!) Unlock some parts! Now make a Savefile in KSC. Og into build mode, make a Large Craft With 300 parts. Save it! Now rename it several times With a New name. When I first did this test, more then 2 months ago, I renamed and made about 30 Versions of the ship, tho, KSP only kept 8 of em. Any saves of any kind, made after this point would fail. Make a New Savefile in KSC, this would normaly fail (be lost) Now restart the game & hope for the best! Are they all there? Also, as I have also said earlier, theres no need too launch the Ships into Space Or Kerbin. Having the files in the "folder" seemed too do the job. Before I'd start a New KSP career, I would check this out for sure. Atleast you'd be sure

  3. Nope, tho you can not use Visa/Mastercards/Paypal and so on, since they will tell you that you are in the wrong region. Xbox wont let you buy anything "over the boarder" anynmore it seems. But what says that it would be illegal too have a Rich uncle from USA, that sends you X-Box giftcards on yer birthday So what i do, is buy a Prepaid Giftcard online, for the region i want too buy a game. Usualy US, as they get releases earlier then EU. (getting FIFA on 27. in US & the 29. in EU). Also, I get my Cards from this site - http://www.pcgamesupply.com & I've gotten all my orders too date. Be carefull tho, This game is broken as it sits now, & desperatly need a patch. Jusk keep that in mind, & maybe check the somewhat workarounds if you get stuck
  4. Hey all, back to the "workaround" again here. For those of you that get stuck early, are any of you using "Stock Ships" or what theyr called. I'm not sure if these can max you out earlier, but worth a try atleast. (You Can turn em off in settings in KSC "Costumise" or sumthing, button on the bottom i think.) Dont need to start a New Career.
  5. Yeah, kinda sounds like the bug, where everything Locks up after longer missions. Had this happen to me after doing a Kerbal-Mun-Kerbal trip. As far as i know theres no fix for this, Unless you can somehow make it Autosave for you. I made a thread about this earlier, With a workaround (that worked for me). But this wont work for everyone, as i did have a manned capsule. I had too go into EVA and could then retrive the ship. I made a thread about this earlier, Guess its somewhat the same prob. That workaround might not work here tho
  6. I went back to my solution post. to re-read it and make sure it made sense and it was gone!! Was about to complain and then I see its been Sticky'd to the opening post as the best solution. 1. of all, when "all" those Companies releases their broken games, they ususaly get it working within a week or two, atleast the crititcal fixes, so its not really the same is it?? This game STILL doesnt work!. (And Squad dont belive in hotfixes they told me) And here we are 8 weeks!!! after release, and theyr patches still fails QA's... Yeah you can start the game, play it for a while. But not for long... So it "Works" but is still broken. If you'd play the game for 2 hours only, you'd prolly never notise the "memorybug". And 2.dly what is needed too break this game you ask? well, as i've said so many times now, this is how I did my first test, It wont fail. Start a New career Go into hangar, build a ship With 300 Parts. Then just rename this Ship 10 times! Save it With New names ofc. When doing this, only the first 7 or 8 Ships will be Saved, the rest (9th-10th) will just disappear. Also, any saves/quicksaves/autosaves after this point will fail, and disappear after restarting the game. They are there before Restarting the game, but disappear on restart. It is as you max out the games available memory or sumthing, You can free up space, but can only go so far, as the savefiles themselves grow larger. And do notise! This is with having the ships in the "load ships" folder, you dont even need to have them in-flight. Yeah this game is so broken.... should never gone thru the prerelease QA. Wonder how it did that...

  9. Yeah, if you stay true to the "rules" of the workarounds, its possible to do some things in the game. But you'd have to be carefull, not beeing able to do half of the "missions" given, or even less later ingame. And good job on reworking the fixes @AndyChilly i gave up working on em after 2-3 seeks... When theres actually fixes for the friggin borked release you gave us (Squad), how about maybe "putting em up there" or somehow promote the somewhat workarounds. But naah, that would make them look bad, would'nt it. Cuz not all PR is good PR. They could atleast make em Stickys... They probably wont tho.... i've asked earlier.

"FTE will need to build several 300 part ships, launch them and leave them in space, while making a bunch of custom quicksaves" nono, You got it wrong you dont even need too have the ships in flight! Just having them in the "load Craft" menu, will max out the memory of the game, no need too have them in flight even . (i learned this 6 weeks ago, lots of info in threads about Cant save... ) Then again, what you mentioned is problem number 2, Yeah, any launched ship will also max out the memory, so even if what i said 1. doesnt mess it up, the latter will, as in lots of stations and satelites. Theres just so many holes in this game, that the so called workarounds seems useless for now.

Well thats the problem, Start a New game, make a ship With 300 parts, rename & save it 8 times. You have now maxed out Our game and ruined it. Now this is just a test i did, too check what would max out the game, but depending on gamestyle, you could easily max out kinda early....
  12. Yup. Utterly unserious Company, and then theres some of the "bleivers" that put us Down, becouse we complain that we think we're being treated unfair. Ohh Yeah, dont get me wrong, KSP rocks! If you could only play it... And at first... Before the console release, as i already got it on PC, I was thinking & saying out loud too all my m8s i play With on xb1, that "*This game is soo good, it deserves to be bought twice" Well... that was before release. After 1 friend bought it, I told the rest to stay away! And that i'd rather buy it on PC (none of em got gamer PC tho so no sales there either) Yeah. I am a beliver of the PC Version! But stay the heck away from the console Version, I dont think it could ever work out as good as we could hope for. & if its runs that bad on Vanilla, what would mods do to the perfomance, they'll prolly never show up.

Yeah, sorry m8, did'nt mean too fire off at you Deddly... you just requoted theyr infos its just that any official info from the Squad or FT, this is what they start and end theyr "News" With. & its starts too really irriatate I mean, stand up, and take it like a man... dont just blame others... For the OP tho and getting back on topic, have'nt seen all of these problems before, tho if you (OP) read the posts about maxing out the memory and so on, I wouldnt be supriced if that would turn out too be the reason for this one also.   14. My gawd... i've heard enough of the "Its really Sony & M$ that is too blame here" cwap. Soo theres something soo special With KSP, that it takes M$ 3-4 weeks too test it and get it out? That means those QA tests from M$ probably failed then? No other game on the Xbox1 system would take a month too get thru. We got games that's patched weekly, and even getting Hotfixes within days after release. So go put those "Its not Us, Its them" excuses somewhere else pls! They said they had fixed Xbox issue, but not PS4 last time i checked, but that was a week ago or sumthin. So now 6 weeks after release & nada.
