I did plant a flag on pol, I have not entered pol's SOI on this save. No idea how to replicate it without starting a new save and going through all the missions unfortunately. I think this issue can be seen more clearly when trying to land on eve. Coming in from a low eccentricity orbit wtih a Pe above 85km. my heatshield was thermally overloaded. Dipping into the very tip of Jool was fine though for some reason

I've been having problems with Jool not having any textures and just being a dark green colour. EDIT: It only happens on 1 save
