Reduce max range. Also try to see if you installed wrong version/has world stabilizer mod. Reducing graphics works too.

Looks like you placed a Module missile manager on your plane. You do NOT need it for planes, it is meant for missiles.

No. Not yet. BUT, there is a less official release called runway project bdac. Not sure what you mean by looping around. Make sure machine guns have the correct type of ammo available.

Step number 1: build the air frame. With the cannon. Step number 2: give it ammo and tune the AI. Step number 3: do gun runs on enemy tanks.

I am not sure if you have heard about ASCU, but those guys are the most knowledgeable in the field of BDAc dogfights. But anyway how can I improve effectiveness of flares? Dumping 1 in every direction ensures that your plane is covered by flares no matter how you maneuver. -

Interestingly, rewatching footage from the IA102 and Su47 shows a failure to dodge missile at 260m/s, despite dumping huge amount of flares... -

So the problem boils down to whether you want to pass out or get shot down by a missile. If I remember correctly G-LOC locks all control surfaces. Which means your plane will keep doing 12G turns until it runs out of fuel/get shot down/crash into the ground. Unless, that is, you are allowed to use probe cores... -

Going slow is the only way to survive. Which also means you need to turn sufficiently quickly. BUT, if someone builds a slow-turning high-altitude missile lobber and just out-last enemies... Oh, and I personally hate heavy cockpits. The thrust loss from using lawn chairs is less than the weight penalty of a cockpit. -

That is what I call the art of fueling. Jokes aside, I never thought FAR dogfights would require that much fuel. Edit: After watching the video, I figured I need to re-tune my plane. And add more fuel. It stalls to easily. -

Well, you ARE introducing flat earth theory to a bunch of kids. Not a great idea. Unless it all follows physics and clumps back together. And the game is designed to be hard. Kids do not just learn from success. They learn from failure also. -

Not a flat Kerbin mode, but a REALISTIC flat kerbin mode. Like how gravity would clump it back into a ball and crush KSC and all hopes of leaving kerbin with it. -
