  1. Guess it is solved; Tekto looks weird because KRASH teleported me there. If it looks good when I go there for real, there is nothing to post anymore. And I guess you are talking about the EnableColliders.cfg. Took a Look at it and on some Planet/Moon .cfgs. Can't really see how to get it going on Modded Bodies. But so far I only have Experience with Part .cfg Files and how to change Things on them.
  2. Did cheat by using the KRASH Mod. Just wanted to compare to Pood's OPM VO and didn't want to spend hours burning the Ion Engine. This pink Squares also appear after having cheated myself to Places by KRASH but disappear quicker compared to being honest at Kerbin. (Well, KRASH isn't really cheating but more intended to test Crafts. You can't collect Science when using it etc.) And I would highly appreciate that .cfg. Can it also be adapted to work on Mod Bodies?
  3. Expected that. Was more interested if any others have this Issue too or it only happens to mee so it definitely has nothing to do with 1.8.x. I'd miss the collidable Scatter Objects tho, so I stick with SVT as I can live with this two occasional Glitches. The Stuff that I posted about SVE in the other Thread bugs me way more.

  5. Two Things: Atmospheric Scatter Glitch on Tekto. Dunno if it reappears or just was a one-time Thing; I was more concerned about the second one: I know from the Planetshine Thread that it is not compatible with 1.8.x and will cause this pink Squares. I don't have Planetshine installed but found an OPM Planetshine.cfg in the Outer Planets Mod Folder; removing it did not make Things better. Do you know of anything Planetshine related in the SVE/SVT Mods or any other Reason that might cause this pink Squares. I'd guessthat this is caused by Visual rather than other Mods but SVE+SVT with the according Dependencies (Scatterer+EVE) are the only ones that I have installed. EDIT: Almost forgot: They only appear in the first 30 or so Seconds after Launch and seem to be more frequent in Atmospheres, especially on Kerbin. 6. Anybody experience this too? This only happens at Dawn/Dawn Twilight and only on Vall, but I only went to a few Bodies since I installed SVT. Also sometimes the Terrain at Kerbin randomly starts vibrating like an Earthquake but I didn't manage to record it yet. OK, not really like an Earthquake as I can tell by Experience but I hope you get the Idea EDIT: It seem like YouTube processed most of the Glitch out of the Video; the Terrain looks a bit "wobbly"; like this unwanted Effects you might get when Filming something with tightly packed Stripes (I'm horrific at describing Things).

  8. I have. Logs are coming; my Laptop is searching the Harddrive cuz I always forget their Location.
  9. Can't select Vintage Spacesuits anymore. Is there any easy Solution for this or should I upload Log Files?
  10. Might be the Reason we waited the last Days. And the Changes from 1.8.1 seem to be little so hopefully the Update won't delay Things to much.
  11. You mean like from the Breaking Ground DLC? Dunno, but would be awesome. My first guess would be the Outer Planets Mod as it comes with a very wide Variety of Biomes all with their own Science Reports, Anomalies etc and is the most supported one by other Mods. IMHO the best Planet Pack.
  12. Only horizontal Velocity counts. Turns out that even a slight vertical Speed has some considerable Effect after doing some Trigonometry
  13. I am currently working on a Video where you can see my recent Concepts. All three of them use the Mk 1 inline Cockpit and the Advanced Nose Cone Type A or this longer, Nose-Cony Adapter Tank (1.25 m-0.625 m) which's Name I forgot and the Small Nose Cone. Along with the Video I will also upload the Crafts to the Steam Workshop. My best so far is 2.4 km/s at 28 km Altitude. But Final Frontier still considered that as Mach 4. The only Time I got the Mach 5 Ribbon is when I accidentally de-orbited an Interplanetary Ship that was coming from Duna and hit the upper Atmosphere at over 3 km/s. Surprisingly, all six Kerbals on Board survived that Inferno thanks to EVA Parachutes
  14. I've recently taken up the Challenge of the Mach Ribbons from the Final Frontier Mod. While some of my Rocket Planes can reach Mach 4 and land safely and reach Mach 5 (seems to be something like 2.5 km/s at 25 km) with serious overheating Issues I never even came anywhere near Mach 6. Looking for advice or Craft Files to check out and reverse-engineer them.
  15. I'd be surprised if it runs better on Windows than Linux. And Scatterer itself seems to make not that much of a Difference but what VO Mod you have installed actually does. Spectra e.g. looks awesome with a few Exceptions but caused serious Lag to me. SVE/SVT seems to be much better, as far as I can judge now without them being at full Function without Kopernicus.
  16. As I say, only one Eeeloo but a Mixture of OPM and Kerbol Origins Eeloo. Got an I-7 something (forgot about it) Quad Core, GTX 960M 2GB and uprgraded the RAM to 32 GB on my Laptop. But serious Lag is more Rule than Exception. Guess that Spectra VO had something to do with it (back in 1.7.3). Now I usually have between 12 and 20 FPS. Mod List on my current Installation (not complete): Advanced Fly by Wire, Airplane Plus, Better Time Warp, Bon Voyage, CactEye, Comfortable Landing, Community tech Tree, Contract Configurator, DangIt, Decalcomania, DMagic Orbital Science, Docking Port Alignment Indicator, EVA Struts, EVE, Field Training Facility, Field Training Lab, Final Frontier, Hullcam VDS, Interkosmos, Kerbal Alarm Clock, Kerbal Constructs, KIS/KAS, KPBS, Kraken Science, MechJeb, Near Future Technologies, Persistent Rotation, ResearchBodies, Rover Science, ScanSat, ScienceLabInfo, Snacks, Solar Science, Station Science, Stage Recovery, Stockalike Station Parts, Surface Experiments Package, SVE/SVT, Tarsier Space Tech, Texture Replacer. These are only the Mods that I picked and installed and not even all of them. Plus of course Dependencies that they brought with them like Community Resource Pack. But still no Kopernicus and thus no OPM and SVE/SVT make little to no Difference. So I am really anticipating 1.9 now because I don't think Kopernicus will be released for 1.8.1 anymore. At least I wouldn't do that if I know there will be just the next Update coming very soon. Back to Topic/going off Topic again after coming back to the actual Topic of this Kopernicus Thread Dunno why I have this bad Lag if you say it is running fine for you. I always thought that KSP just doesn't get more CPU/GPU/RAM assigned so it doesn't use the full Hardware Potential. But seamingly that is not my Problem. And Spectra VO really needs a lot of everything, SVE/SVT seem to be much better and IMHO even look better
  17. Sort of. It hust gives the Mk 1-3 a new texture but the IVI is the same. Not only is the IVA the main Reason I like the Mk 1-2 so much but it also doesn't line up to the outer Appearance if it's Mk 1-2 on the Outside and Mk 1-3 on the Inside.
  18. I think Squad removed everything from the Mk 1-2. I just had it un-hidden from the TechTree for a while but remember that at some Point I've had to find the Part Files somewhere else and get them into my current Installation. Or maybe I cocked up during all my fiddling with the Game Files (I changed some Names, moved Parts to other Tech Nodes etc.) and removed it by myself. You can look in Squad/Parts/Command and there should be a Folder named Mk1-2Pod or Mk 1-2 Pod if I'm correct. My Installation at least does not have it. I know that the Legacy Variants are still in the Game and you can find them by searching for their Manufacturers or arranging by Nod Size/Tech Level. The same applied for the Legacy Parts but I think they are all gone now.
  19. And it's down again. Any Tips to work around this? I will keep using this Files for myself of course but also like to make the 1-2 available to others as well. Reason is that I uploaded two Crafts that use it and want others to enjoy them too.
  20. Dunno if somebody published this before, but I made a little Mod that brings back the old Mk 1-2 Pod. I liked it's more modern Look than the Mk 1-3, especially the IVA, so I kept using it (you still found it when you know where to look) after it has been hidden from the TechTree and was disappointed when it was completely removed from the Game. The "Mod" is just the Part Files copypasted from an older KSP Version without any Changes, except setting "TechHidden" to false in the .cfg File. So it should run fine with any Game Version. https://spacedock.info/mod/2310/Mk 1-2 Pod To any new Players who don't know the Mk 1-2 anymore, it's a 2.5 m Command Pod for three Kerbals. It has pretty much the same Characteristics as the Mk 1-3 but is a bit havier. I'd guess that this is due to better Radiation Shileding in modern Spacecraft compared to the 60s. I'm not registered to any Photo sharing Sites so no Images but you can see the Mk 1-2 in Action here in this Video that I made: If I violated any Squad/Take Two Copyrights please warn me immidately. I am no Lawyer and don't see any Problem in bringing back old Parts to the Community but the Fact that I didn't find similar Mods like this gave me Concerns that this might be due to legal Reasons.
  21. It was orbiting Sarnus from OPM but with the Parameters from orbiting Sarvin in Kerbol Origins. The Description was also from Kerbol Origins or it kept the stock Description, not sure anymore.
  22. Having a beefed up PC doesn't necessary reduce Lag as KSP can only run on one CPU core if I rememer correctly. Plus some other Reasons. At its Core it just still is an Indie Game with Bugs and Stability Issues. Installing many Mods like I do only makes things worse, so if you prefer high Framerates over a diversified Gameplay better keep your Mod Count low. I have a decent Laptop but am very familiar with KSP lagging quite badly while the Laptop isn't even breaking Sweat. 40-50 Mods might be a Reason for that. Oh yes, and don't install two Planet Packs that both move Eeeloo. It's quite interesting what happens to Eeloo but it definitely has all kinds of Effects on Performance and Stability
  23. It seems like this Mod sets the R&D to Level 3, even if you just started a new Save. I fiddled a bit with the Settings but did not find a way to start with a Level 1 R%D. Is this normal or maybe my Mistake? I will upload the Logs if it is a Bug.
  24. But let's hope they finally add the Gas Planet 2 beyond Jool
