Can't EVA and can't place manouver nodes

It happens after i load a save -
Playing 1.8.1 science mode, but the problem persisted even on 1.9.1 (i downgraded). Can't EVA, says that I need to upgrade the astranout complex, but I'm playing science so it's fully upgraded. Also outside of Kerbins SOI I can't place any manouver nodes at all.

Hello. Is there a way to make KS3P shadows brighter? My issue is that shadows make stuff in the service bay invisible because it's pitch black, and lights mounted inside dont make it any brighter. What do i need to change in the config to help change that?
