    Retribution time!

This is the real power of Open Source! :)

    Retribution time**2 !

AppLovin is promoting the development of an automated tool (using LLM) to automate the most the migration of existing Unity3D code to Godot or Unreal.

My opinion is that the way to go is not exacly this one, but a nad tool today is better than an excellent tool after the project was shipped.

    Let's see how things develop.

    The Source must flow.

    This is the way!

If we can manage to fix KSP(1) properly, without risking our SASes on shady practices and being able to see in situ the effects of what we do, we may give the Franchise some air to breath, what will increase the KSP(1) incoming, that so can be injected into funding KSP2.

That's right. But... how will we make them to hear us at least?

I tried and this topic went dead for about two months.

It's a big company and ignoring a few posts asking for something is probably going to do 0 harm to their income.

Yes but it will harm their reputation. A lot.

I mean, look at KSP2, it has 355 online players in Steam. I mean, currently. Meanwhile KSP1 has almost 2k. Now. Online. Only in Steam.

PD is... in a bad shape. The update releasing is slowing down. I'm not a very pessimistic guy, but there is a possibility, that we will never see The Second part in full.

If we could get access to the SC -- we must try it. It will be better for the community. After all -- we love this game and we care for it.

i did see the post that said 3.16 has a comms problem but im worried if i downgrade to 3.15 something might break

Try to open Settings.cfg in /KerbalismConfig and find

    Quote

// DampingExponentOverride = 14        // Kerbalism will calculate a damping exponent to achieve good data communication rates (see KSP.log, search for DataRateDampingExponent). If the calculated value is not good for you, you can set your own.

    there.

Then enable it and try to play with it.
But beware -- the bigger the number -- the worse your comms will be.

im having an issue with Kerbalism where science transmission rates can plummet to 0.1b/s even though im fully within range of the KSC/relay probes and am having no power issues (science mode, max upgraded facilities)

example: interplanetary probe sent to Duna was still within transmission range during the transfer (and at Duna too) with 90-100% connection strength but the transmission rate just dropped to 0.1b/s effectively rendering the probe useless

    Do you use 3.16 kerbalism?
Do you use JNSQ or another scaled system?
