  1. Folks, please try to remain respectful and on topic.
  2. Where is your center of lift located in relationship to your center of mass? If all of your lift is in the front and your mass in the rear of the plane (or vice versa) you could have severe stability issues.
  3. Wow, beautiful screenshots and a wonderful story to go with it! Great stuff Cydonian Monk!
  4. Hi everyone, this is just a quick reminder that the KSP Forums are a-political and that any thread that becomes derailed by political banter will be closed, don’t let your temper override your good sense.
  5. Unfortunately this thread is going to have to be locked because what you've suggested is on the What not to suggest list, please refer to that list before making any further suggestion.
  6. Before you suggest any improvements for KSP, please refer to the What not to suggest list. That way you don't suggest something that the devs have already said won't be in KSP or is a planned feature for the future.
  7. Hi there folks, couldn't help but notice the massive necro post. Please refer to the Good Conduct Guide about bumping threads and remember that both necro posting and bumping threads are against the Community Rules. A better way to get the OP's attention is to send them a PM.
  8. Locking this thread up due to necro posting.
  9. Any version after 0.13.3 is a paid version and therefore cannot be shared.
  10. Thread closed as requested by Helldiver. Please continue the discussion here.
  11. I think the thermal blankets on the descent capsule are "removed" by reentry rather than by separation from the Service and Orbital Modules.
  12. The textures look quite good. As for the solar panels you should consult the KSPModders IRC channel, they're a pretty knowledgeable bunch and they're active nearly 24/7.
  13. From what I could find, the replacement for the Rus-M is the Amur (Angara 5P). Link
  14. Do you have any struts on it? IIRC that was Romfarer's suggestion if it was breaking apart on you.
  15. Quite well in fact, you use all of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd stages and have to use the Vostok's motor for the orbital insertion.
  16. A little experiment of mine, styled after the N111. Uses the Blok V + Blok G plus the 3rd stage from the Vostok as well as the Vostok. All parts are from MrTheBull except for 1 decoupler and the launch clamps.
  17. No one knows when the update will come around because a lot of things can happen during QA/experimentals that could push it away, and for good measures Squad never gives release dates because even them don't know. Just wait for the weekly as you said and look out for the developer's notes, this is the best info you'll have. Thread closed
  19. Good finds dimovski, I didn't know there were derivatives of the N1. I did some reading of my own and found out that the N11 was to be a replacement for the Proton family of rockets, and the N111 was to replace the Soyuz/Vostok family of rockets. None of them ever got off of the drawing board. I found some info about the N111 here, it looks like the N111 was a Blok V as the first stage, a Blok G as the second stage and the second stage of a R-9 (aka 8K77 Blok as the third stage.
  20. Well done on both mods MrTheBull, they really look brilliant. That would require MrTheBull to create his own R7 rocket, Soyuz Spacecraft and Lunar Korabl.
  21. I know that I'd be interested in using it off of the equator, likely in a high latitude location.
