  1. Obviously this cannot be done in KSP, but how funny would it be if someone got a rocket so powerful it could change the moons orbit... And they moved it in a geostationary orbit above one country so the other side of the world doesn\'t get it It\'s probably nigh on impossible but the thought still makes me chuckle
  2. So I followed the tutorial and made my part, but the furthest it let me do in KSP was the collision mesh I think... The object worked, had a shadow, but was clear... Really confused :/
  3. Dunno how bad this seems but back when I was a noob, I built a rocket to get to the mun... not necessarily back, but I just wanted to land there for the first time... So I was coming down, reducing vertical velocity, but by the time I realised 'Hang on, Im moving way to fast horizontally', it was too late..... Now, I have multiple munar bases and a perfected space craft dubbed 'Kerpollo'.
  4. 1) But they arent of poor quality parts, they are of design flaws, or game glitches... I want these failures for perfect, tested rockets when the game coding is better :] 2) And yeah i was thinking somthing like that :]

Yeah thats fair enough, in above replies there was suggestions of a \'hardcore\' game mode, which i thought was a good idea :] Yeah I was thinking those things, but also (in the previously mentioned hardcore mode) things like shorts in the engines which causes them to stop completely... Yeah basically I think im just hoping for a few different game modes, like sandbox/creative, intermediate, and hardcore/realistic Think I\'d enjoy it once I perfect my rockets
  6. Yeah I think that a test facility would be amazing! Not only could you test old parts, but you could build a stage, and it could show the stage weight, burn time, and how much thrust is produced
  7. I like this idea! A hardcore game where you cant just end flights if the Kerbals are alive, perhaps (Yes i know it may lag out the game but still), and the parts are prone to malfunction. ... But yeah I was thinking it would be in a different game mode but i forgot to mention it... I wouldnt put it in a creative/sandbox mode like the game is currently in :]
  8. well maybe so, but even if only the reused part malfunctions... otherwise people wont use new parts cos they would cost too much...
  9. I have an idea for a new feature. I got the idea from Apollo 13. Basically, each part would have a percentage of change of failure during flight... So a new part would have say a 5% chance of malfunctioning, and a reused part (if implemented in future versions) has say 10%, then if used again 15% and so on... Also by the cost (if there ever is a cost in parts), the higher cost/better quality, the less chance there is of it malfunctioning? Just thought it would make the game more realistic Cheers, Dom.
  10. I was thinking about a cool thing this morning... For both my KSP game, and maybe in real life, how cool would a \'Space Station Hotel\' be??? That would be AMAZING!!!!
  11. First of all, this is my favourite KSP mod yet A few more tweaks such as the textures and stuff and itll be awesome!! Secondly, I have a suggestion... Could you make the solar panels attach to batteries (that obviously charge over time, based on the number of panels) that power the service module and RCS engines? That would be very cool Lastly, I launched my Primary part of the station and it is orbiting at 250km (I used the MechJeb mod to launch). Now I am trying to launch a rocket to attach to the station... And I can get the rocket into a 250km orbit, but I can\'t get it floating close enough to use the RCS ports to dock the space craft to the station... Could you please upload a tutorial video or something on docking in orbit? Thankyou!
  12. Will there ever be an update for KSP version 0.15??? A few parts dont work for this version...
