Show off your landers MEGATHREAD

Lander is in behind Deszer Kerman [R.I.P my dear friend (died while testing something for Jeb, who now is on lockdown at my space station) ] -
Where is the Skipper Engine in the Poll
-
During Heavy Time Warp to Duna Encounter, Kerbin catched up behind my back and pulled me in, while i was still wondering why time-warp didnt worked, I was flying right into the sea :/

Well, the Space Station has ASAS enabled, I'm trying right now to switch to it disable it then switch back and try to dock, but it moves too far off course. The Train got really bad maneuvering as all the RCS is on the Tail, the Space Station is still in its early phase so it can move fairly well, but the docking port is on the side so the only way to see if its aligned is if i switch my control to it but then moving this thing becomes crazy.

My Last Mission Log (I'm stupid sometimes i know...): Planned: 1. Send Part 1 of Fuel Train (RCS Part with Cupola Module and Solar Panels and Docking Port on the back) into LKO 2. Send Part 2 of Fuel Train (Unmanned Probe on the Top, Docking Port on the back) 3. Dock them together (RCS Part makes rendez-vous, as it has a small fuel tank with an engine and a decoupler on the back). 4. Fly with it to the KOS-A and dock it with the Space Station How it turned out: 1. Send Part 1 of Fuel Train (RCS Part with Cupola Module and Solar Panels and Docking Port on the back with Engine and small Fuel Tank (detachable)) into LKO 2. Accidentially decoupled the fuel tank with the engine 3. Send up another one and docked that to the RCS Part 4. Send Part 2 of Fuel Train (Unmanned Probe on the Top, Docking Port on the back) 5. Forget solar panels and run out of energy while waiting for rendez-vous burn 6. Send up an RCS Tank with solar panels and dock it to the Fuel Part 7. Dock both parts together (finally) 8. [still in Progress] Trying to dock a Train with 2 Big Rockomax Tanks + 10 Big RCS Tanks with a space station.

Hello, in this right moment I am trying to dock my fuel train with my Space Station Around Kerbin, i quicksaved in the moment when both docking ports are pretty close (actually touching eachother). They are slightly inclined but even if i press them closer together the magnetic lock just never starts to take action. (Fuel Train ~80t, Station ~65t) And yes, the docking ports are on the placed on the right direction (actually both of them had already been docked to sth. else). I hope someone could help me :X

you can click on the resource bar and then on RCS fuel, that way all RCS tank have their UI visible and you can disable/reable the fuel flow and activate the next Tank when you decoupler the first etc.

Hello, most of you know it is annoying to build a rover that is made to be driven by a kerbal in a seat and then have to build something else with a command pod to get the kerbals from. It would be great if someone could make a mod (or maybe there is one already and i couldnt find it) that placed kerbals into the seats on demand like crew manifest does with the command modules. Thanks to everyone who could help me

You Will Not Go To Space Today - Post your fails here!

Well this new Lifter Design didnt work out so well, it breaks apart into three pieces at about a few hundret meters. -
After about an hour, i couldnt figure out a way to get close to your attempt, even with a design looking pretty much the same as yours i couldnt get over 3km. But while figuring out a way to keep this thing on course (so much rcs overreacts pretty much) i got an Idea. I present the "RCS-Wheel": It works ok, but im working on a more stable version that wont tip over by adding one more of those to each side on the on on the picture.

switching flags
Jaedinator replied to Credible Hulk's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
Try to pick the one you want out of the flagpole then switch to Jeb, climb out, then back in, then back out of the command pod and try to place one. Not sure if it works, but it should, as kerbals always get a new flag when climbing in a command pod (just like Jetpack-Fuel). -
*Thanks to Subassembly Loader which lets me choose which pilot i want to take* Jeb is still my #1 Pilot for very expensive/important/dangerous flight (of course there are precautions to assure his safety (i wonder if I'm evil because my other pilots never get anything like that ) ) Bob is sitting inside our latest orbital station around Kerbin and Bill is training our new test-plane-pilots. (Bill got promoted to the Spaceplanehanger)

Hello fellow Kerbanauts we're in 0.20 now so i decided to start a new space program and to get rid of mechjeb and installed the info-based kerbal engineer instead, i did all the standard stuff to assure my piloting skills havent been replaced by mechjeb (Mun Land+Return, Ike + Duna flag plant in one step, Orbital space station assembling (which i couldnt do without MJ before )), and it seems that i've become a better pilot than before MJ, i guess because you still have to choose which kind of maneuver you want to set up. Sorry for this introduction, i tend to fall into endless writing before i get my point. Now I'm looking for a challenge, and i thought about getting into orbit at every celestial object and send a probe/rover/lander down before flying to the next one. The Main craft would be most likely assembled in kerbin orbit. My question now is, if something like this is even possible and if yes if you tried it too?

What do you name your space agencies?
Jaedinator replied to GalaxyGryphon's topic in KSP1 Discussion
JKSP-Jaedinator Kerbal Space Program (not very creative i know xD) -
I love 0.20, the new parts are great, i love the Skipper Engine. But for me the biggest improvements are 1. the changes in the editor that lets us remove every part now and 2. due to the memory usage improvements i can now play on highest quality and with part heavier ships without/less lag
-
I usually put small fuel tanks and a probe core on stages that are deployed in orbit around kerbin so i can deorbit them later, maybe you could put probe cores and parachutes on the stages you want safely on the ground and switch to them as soon as your main craft is in a stable orbit.

Small ship designs
Jaedinator replied to WhiteWeasel's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
toroidal gives you more fuel for less weight so i would go for that one -
My first flag on the Mun, Minmus going to be next, then the rest of the system
