  1. I am really interested in being able to have "floating" parts in the VAB for a pod-racer type craft. With engines that move independently of the module and tug it along. http://imgur.com/eXtMZ Any help?

  3. Wow! Thanks for the practically instant help and clear advice. I just have one problem, I have tried to open the persistence file but I then realized that it is an SFS file. Is there a certain program or converter that I can use to gain access to my persistence file?
  4. I have had my share of attempts on space stations, fueling stations, and massive satellites but they always rip apart with orbital construction. Would I be able to edit the persistence file to move one of my constructions directly to the desired point in space without the destruction of orbital construction? If so, how?
  5. I was able to download .17 and everything is running like a dream now, so basically my post is solved.
  6. I just recently went through with a fresh download of KSP .16 (.17 is having too much trouble with me) and decided to try out the Kethane, Payload, and Satelite mods from MMI. I have all the plugins that are "required" but I can't seem to get mechjeb to function properly. I have tried all the different part versions of Mechjeb and they all have the menu except I can't use the auto-ascent function on my rockets, as that is as far as I have gone in trying to find out all the bugs. I have tried building simple 1 fuel, 1 rocket ships that can't even start up, Mech jeb just keeps awaiting launch after the 1st stage is going. Any solutions? Edit: I am using v1.9.2 as far as I know. After some basic toying around I have also found that my rockets will only sputter for a split second (with a mechjeb part) and then stop going all together no matter what I do, I am starting to think that this may be a bug with the PowerTech_MuMech Plugin.

I have been experimenting with the DSPM and I have also downloaded the Electrical Energy Plugin, which to my knowledge gave the ability for the solar panels to power batties and ion engines and what not. Am I supposed to set custom values for the solar panels and batteries for them to work properly, or maybe move the 'source' file to somewhere. Sorry I am new to the mod world.
  8. I am relatively new to the world of mods and have already downloaded the MechJeb, DSMP and this plugin for KSP. I have gone through everything without a hitch until I came across CS files under the 'Source' folder for this plugin. Are they supposed to be moved into a specific KSP folder? edited for custom energy values? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  9. I downloaded the MechJeb as my first actual mod for a PC game, ever, and would just like to know if I placed the file in the right place. After MechJeb was done downloading, I moved the 'MechJeb' folder and the text document 'info' into the KSP resources folder. Any advice on installing the Deep Space Mission Pack and the Electrical Energy Plugin would also be greatly appreciated. Edit 1: I have finished downloading the DSMP and the EEP, where do I move the folders to, without corrupting my entire KSP saves? Edit 2: Solved!
  10. I bought KSP about a month ago and this is my first forum post, mainly because I finally have a pressing reason to use the forums, mods. I am having a blast playing this and I hope everybody else does too.
