  1. Wow, I'm very happy that Nova is enjoying our MMI packs. I am currently in the process of moving, so I will be able to get my stuff together soon and continue with the Orbiter project.
  2. Im considering it, but we have priorities set on other things first. We will take a look into the future if we find a good demand for it.
  3. We will look into it. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, we will attempt to simulate your issue and give a solution soon. Thanks for supporting us!
  4. I am currently working on some concept art for a modular craft that uses scramjets, ramjets, chemical rockets(Kethane fuel for all of them). This will help kind of bring the whole kethane system together, and that is why I wanted to incorporate something that helps expands the ability of the wonderful mod created by Dani-Sang and Kulesz. It wont bring anything new to kethane but will allow you to utilize kethane sources in a "space plane" configuration. More info soon!
  5. My next project is going to incorporate scramjet engines, ramjets, and chemical rockets, all on a single unit. You will see some concepts soon on the Mechanical Mouse forum section very soon.
  6. The payload fairings are nearing completion i am really excited to get these fairings released to the public. Any im even more excited to see the rover coming close to release! Thank you all for your support and for enjoying out mod packs!
  7. We are getting a bit closer to the fairings being complete. I hope others are excited as I am.
  8. Heres another toy im playing with, a side fairing to hold your payloads in place while traveling in atmospheres..... or just for fun
  9. Started finishing up the textures for the Fairings for the payload pack. I hope you guys like what I have in store!!!
  10. I need to revise the Stall limit. Its as if the game has a super soft cap at 6 airflow and you can for some reason still get air in space. That needs to be changed but in the mean time ill just fix the cap and set it at 6 or 7 to stop that. Even in the thin atmosphere the scram would work at fast speeds but with literally nothing to breath I know it would not work. Ill get to it later tho because right now im working on a "stealth Jet" prototype of something our military uses right now.
  11. This looks great and Ill have to dl it and try it now. Good job and im glad I could inspire you as you did me ;D
  12. Your idea inspired me greatly! I completely forgot about that rocket system they use and I was dead focused on the Scram jet itself. Now I have something to add to it with.
  13. I have plans for a lot of things, the question is how to make modular pieces while still maintaining a unique look. Such as the f22 raptor, to cut that up it would only fit together one way. Thats the issue.....
  14. This is my plan, im going through iterations on how I want to cut up the Craft and add different options like different shaped hulls, engines, wings, nose, etc. Id also like to add a rocket like seen above that launches the Scram-jet into supersonic.
  15. This model has five components, the Hull, Command pod, engine, engine shield/asas, controls surfaces. Because of the nature of how small and light it is, the ASAS doesn\'t work as intended.
  16. Scram jets dont really.... 'land' they crash lol. I might devise some way to land but im not entirely sure it would make sense because the engines fail once the speed is below supersonic.
  17. by: Johnnyd X-7/9 ScramJet The X-7/9 Scram jet is my first project for KSP and the first project I have actually finished for 3D modeling. Its based on the X-43 from NASA with a few personal modifications. Many hours have been spent tuning this craft to work decently yet it still needs some work. Usually a scram jet is deployed in supersonic speeds of 4700 mph and more. But since that is 2400 m/s I decided to tone it down and keep it away from escape velocity. This craft is alot of fun to play with, but needs further tuning. I am open to any suggestions on how to improve on this hull and make it more realistic and enjoyable. Id recommend deploying the scram jet above 10,000m otherwise the dense atmosphere wont allow it to gain speed. In the RAR file I added a deploying craft to allow you to do this as well as the method in which all five parts for the Scram jet are assembled. Enjoy! 18. The first time around I overshot the Kerbal Space Center. My resolution was to slow down my velocity so I could make re-entry a bit more precise. My reason was at 2,300 m/s it becomes very hard to enter the atmosphere were you want without really good thrust! Thanks for watching my video.
  19. I used Fraps to capture it. Payed roughly $38 or so when I bought it a while back. This software works well if you take the render that it gathers and encode it with a better format.
  20. HAHA yea i know it was as close to the launch pad as I could get..... After 38 minutes you get kinda nervous hoping that you don't hit the tower or spontaneously com-bust into a fiery grave of green goo.... Well that's what I did the first time at least lol.
  21. This is my first real video showing Kerbal Space program. Starting with a launch into orbit to acheive the proper velocity, I hold a consistent orbit at 80,000meters @ 2278.5 m/s. I maintained this Orbit and deploy a satellite near the end. Concluding in a reentry to Kearths atmosphere and then landing at the launch area. I hope you Enjoy
