Oh, ok but lets talk using energy, so we can agree, when the spacecraft goes into a colission trajectory towards the atmosphere, it has some kinetic energy and some gravitational energy, as it goes down, part of the potential energy is transfomed into kinetic, when the spacecraft possitions itself to reentry, and starts, it starts to gain heat energy, part lost from the kinetic energy, now due to the material of the heat shield that I assume that would have a great specific heat, its tempeture wouldn't raise as much as so if I put another material with lower specific heat, now when you said that "no matter how high the temperature, has very low actual heat stored in it" you mean that in fact due that because a low fraction of the mass of the heat shield was exposed then its energy would still be low or you mean that the specific heat of the heat shield was low, another thing, returing what I said about energy, well part of the kinetic energy is transformed into heat energy, where is heat energy? is acumulating in the first layer of the heat shield or is dissipating in form of radiation, of what you said I would assume that part of the heat was dissipated because, you said that it would't be so "hot" but brings the question if conductivity 0 exists, haha

Hi, I was wondering about the Heat Shields that the spacecraft use when it decend from space, Well, I have a question about how the heat dissipates and gets transmitted through the heat shield, I know that it should have alot of specific heat so it its tempeture dosent increase to much, but what really intrigues me is how is the conductivity of the heat shield I really dont know. Are there different forms of heat shields? how different they are from each other?

Hi I am from Chile, South America and I would like to present myself in the formus, I play Kerbal space program since it was at 0.17 but I wanted the game since 0.16 so in that time I would play with the old demo, when I found the game the name just made me laugh, and I found it really interesting and quite awsome cause I really love Physics and Astronomy, the idea of creating your rocket, launching it, making an orbit in real big rendered planet, and landing anywhere you want was pretty amazing for me, I also think is a really good way of learning about orbital mechanics if you have time enough, I must spend like 1200 hours on kerbal space program ( having 400 hours on steam). Is good to add that this is a really reputated game, because it might be dificult for some people who dont have experience with previous flight simulator games and you really need to be good to have really stupid thing that might seem easy in other games, I hope this game grows up so it can be more amazing of what is now. I am quite fan of Kerbal Space Program

Yes, I got a little confused by that statment I said , you are correct, the statment I said is only available if it is a liniar movment (and dosen´t come back later at the original place that was accelerated). Imagine we have a system of 2 orbits and the celestial objects orbiting we have, do not interact gravitationally ( because in this example the 2 orbits are the 2 probabilities of orbits that we can have if and if not we launch the rocket) , well let´s say that one orbit is more excentrical than the other and the periapsis (because the excentrical orbit apoapsis is higher than the other orbit apoapsis) of the more excentrical orbit passes through the first orbit trayectory, the distance of both would have a pattern and they might even crash if we had enough time, now lets imagine we have another celstial object that interacts with both, and it has a higher orbit rotating the same way as the others, the more excentrical orbit would be more close to this orbit and it would cause a more stronger gravity assist and this would cause a much more different orbit than the original, so in conclusion the change of the orbit would be variable(if we have the masses constant) by the speed of both object and the distance between both. I got confused when you said year, is year an entire rotation of the new orbit? or is it a time period?

Well, This perfect orbit is more like an orbit in the future If the rocket didnt launch, now as most people here might know, a little change in speed over an enormous lapse of time, would create a quite different distance from the original without that acceleration (this is wrong for orbits) Edited ,And is important to add that gravity follows the R^2 so a change in distance between 2 celestial objects (for ex: Earth and jupiter) would create a quite difference also in the attraction between both, and thus changing alot more its original orbit.

Why the universe exists? Why things fall down? Why did something happend instead of the other? This "Why" is quite interesting, and is also a creation of us. Is important to add that I belive that something exists for us when we have consciousness of it ( we know things), The "why" is the first part of the process which would define our existance, why was created for giving a reason of some occurrence in our existence, On saying "Why this happend and not the other?". The reason of something is defined by the person, if someone belivies in religion god might be the reason. I honestly belive that the why, the reason, the existance for us, Dosent Exists for the hole everything... We percive one reality... What if there were multiple realities?(Like a Tree branching defined by space and time(in other realities might be others)) this hole everything would be all of the posible realities that would be infinite... we form in a single reality when we are conciousness of it (Alive), We define the reality in a way our brain responses, and by a method I honestly dont know we define our pathway on the different paths in the hole everything. Now to the Question, why the universe exists is because we are conscious in a reality were the universe as we know it exists for us. I really think that this is a really hard question to answer, because we humans beings arent capable of analyzing it, This Philosophical, Physical, Quantum Mechanical question is quite odd and strange even our language isnt capable of defining it. This might not be the best answer and this is not the absolute one, but one thing is sure for me: I congratulate you for asking that question I hope one day we get close to answer it. Now what I dont know is that the laws of physics would be variable in the different realities, if it so, I think it would be infinte the number of probabilities... When you are in a car and you think, if I go fast enough I can get to orbital speed and get quickly to work by killing your speed in the exact point using retroburners and parachutes. I really need a medical help

Well, the problem with comunication with other species is that we group things and we relate them with the world or whatever ,so for this to happen, this species have to have the same type of reasoning (percepcion) or a similar one so they can understand and see what we see . The representation is also a problem, the maths variate depending in what point you see them, I mean you can say 1 apple and 1 apple are 2 apples or 200 grams of apple and 200 grams of apple are 400 grams of apple or you can take that 1 apple are 2 apple and the first equation I done would result in 4 apples, the numbers are a representation so as the language , because you can also represent things differently in language.

Well i thought about this because one day I put a kerbal on a rocket engine, and I throttle it up and I saw it fly with a certain speed, so by conclucion an engine has a determined force and that force is acting on the kerbal who has a determined mass, I never have done this equation because I cant calculate the time that the kerbal was exposed with the thrust, and the other question is, All kerbal got the same mass? and does a kerbal in the cockpit affects the rocket?
