  1. Grand, please, please don't flood the forums in threads... make sure you put them in the correct sub-forum too - this should be in "How To". I'm no mod, but this message is pretty much what any mod is gonna tell you - make sure you read the thread rules and, for the love of god, put things in the correct subforum, or someone with admin powers and a bad attitude will come along and temp-ban you. Just a heads up. I hope you become a good community member... something tells me you will bring fresh new ideas here, although I'm not sure why.
  2. A... a map? I'm not good at riddles. Or maybe a Legend.
  3. Idiots! (By the way, there's a 10 character limit now apparently.)
  4. Oh yes, I saw this yesterday. Uh, by the way, this is TECHNICALLY an offtopic-centric thread.
  5. Here's your update. I decided to make my own starfield instead of taking the boring path of copying someone else's one. Photoshop is pretty good at lens flare. Still not done!
  6. Just say anything. ANYTHING AT ALL.

  7. It was inevitable. EDIT: Hey, this could be a good mousepad. Any takers?
  8. Novapunch for certain. The main creator (Novasilisko) was hired by Squad - you can't get higher praise than that.
  9. I feel bad for ending flights. If a kerbal survives a mislaunch, I let them live instead of reusing them. That isn't very eco-friendly, though... most people like to recycle their Kerbals instead of leaving them to pollute the environment. I also have a habit of putting too many parachutes on test-flights, landers for example. My rationalization is that the poor sods testing my death tra-- Erm, brilliant rocketry experiments- well, they don't deserve death if I forget something important. And I NEVER delete persistence files... just move them to a safe place. KSP also seeps into real life occasionally. Strange dreams. Weird thoughts ("I should turn warp on - sure, it disables physics, but this bus is going slo-o-oooow"). It's also given me a strange appreciation for the world we live in. (Don't ask.)
  10. Granted, but they take offense and pummel the horse defecation out of you. I wish I had more wishes.
  11. "HOLY ****!" (wait for iiiiiiit!) ...When you are in the shower?
  12. This just in! Make sure no debris is hurtling towards the launchpad from a decayed orbit when you launch your next flight. I had to do some CSI with quickloading to figure out why a random booster came hurtling down to spear my rocket. Turns out, the debris from my previous flight managed to re-enter just right to come down on the launch pad.
  13. "...A disastrous disaster of disastrous proportions"... as per (SKIP TO 12:35) ...Two seconds before landing on the Mun?
  14. This sounds more like a thread for the off-topic sub-forum, but I digress. That's awfully specific, by the way.
  15. Now that you mention it, his head DOES seem a little large for the cockpit. That's a very stylish canard he's wearing, though. I want three of them.
  16. My newest rocket design has a rather strange design quirk that causes it to corkscrew after the first stage is ejected. This is about 50% of the entire corkscrew, but that's irrelevant. An aborted launch.
  17. Hnng... Must...resist...urge...to...correct... Bugger it! It's an Aileron roll, dammit!
  18. I had one mission plagued with issues. On the pad, I waited one second too long after the physics came back, and one of the engines fell off. I launched anyway. I had to immediately jettison the outermost stage, but that ripped one of my external fuel tanks off the side. Two minutes later this came to fruition as the left engine suddenly cut out. Another tonne or so of fuel wasted. I managed to get into a stable orbit at 125K, but then my old nemisis showed up, the Space Kraken. This is the first time it has ever shown up outside of the extremes of speed and distance I commonly associate with performing a sun-drop. Sure, it only lasted ~5 seconds, but I still lost half of the stage I was on. I then had to use the stage I had planned on using to slow myself down on the final approach to the Mun (I was in a retrograde equatorial orbit at the time) to get my orbit high enough to reach the Mun. By that time, I had missed the Munar injection burn, and had to wait a few orbits. Even then, I ran out of thrust just shy enough of the Mun to ensure that while I could get picked up on a future orbit, I didn't make it into it's SoI. Twenty orbits later, I was picked up. I didn't have enough power to slow down, and I was slingshotted into Kerbin Escape. I used up all my fuel retrograde, and barely managed to be recaptured - but I was on a course for, of all things, minimus. With just a command pod, I knew my kerbonauts wouldn't survive the landing. A rather hectic flight indeed.
