  1. Yeah, I always have at least one generator now somewhere on my ship. I've lost control of unmanned modules for stations and had them destroy the station when I'm not looking.
  2. I had the same problem with my base, and it was because a landing leg was clipping the main body of the station. It spun itself to pieces, but when the landing leg came off it stopped. Try breaking whatever parts are clipping with your Kerbal.
  3. There is usually a Kraken glitch involved in this kind of thing. Go on the KSP wiki and search it and it may clarify your questions.
  4. If you build rovers in the SPH, which I do all the time, you can then test them on Kerbin before designing the launch vehicle. Holding SHIFT allows you to rotate parts by 5 degrees instead of 90. It helps quite a bit.
  5. I suggest you make several stations in Kerbin orbit, if you just want something to do. I have two stations, and I ferry crew between them constantly, sometimes using the same ship over ten times. I plan on making a Mun or Minmus station, but haven't taken the time to do so yet.
  6. How do I post screenshots with my replies? The "image" tool on the toolbar uses a URL, not a computer location. I've got 130+ screenshots and nothing to do with them:(
  7. Yes it's perfectly normal. You're one post away. (The limit is 5) Keep building those ships!
  8. Banned for not obeying the 5-word minimum
  9. Yes he can. Any new KSP fans out there need to drop everything and watch his tutorials if you already haven't, because he can do everything.
  10. OR you could design a rescue ship, launch it, match up to his orbit as he falls, get him in the ship, and somehow land at the KSC. In KSP, there is no such thing as overkill.
  11. I wait to retrograde burn during docking until the last 10 seconds before I collide with the station. It slows down just enough that the final adjustments take about 30 seconds and the total time on RCS ~60 or less.
  12. Debris: Disabled (They cause lag, but in the demo I had 200+) Assigned Kerbals: All Screenshots: ~130
  13. I think that this kind of thing is a milestone for all KSP-ers.
  14. I didn't program my stages to drop spent asparagus stages first, so when I ejected a stage, the two tanks that were supposed to eject last ejected first, and they went up and shredded my middle stage. KerbaMedia still claims that the Fourth of Kuly had come early.
  15. I did the same thing again Duna with a rover once. That was the last time I never used generators and also when I discovered quicksaving.
  16. I was playing the other day and designed an ion-powered probe for Jool. I launched it at noon, made it out of the atmosphere, and then so happened to run out of battery life because of a Munar eclipse. Am I the only one who this kind of thing happens to?
  17. I don't use MechJeb, and I won't until I've done everything I can with the game.
  18. Launched a Soyuz-style ship into orbit, began my approach to the K.S.S., decoupled the final stage, and watched the stage I just decoupled split the station in half.
  19. 456. We intentionally ram satellites into buildings and nothing happens.
  20. No struts on a 1000 ton rocket. Asparagus staging. You get the idea.
  21. I launched a Mun base where the landing legs generated so much gyro kraken that all but one leg flew off on the descent. The station touched down and then proceded to spin incredibly fast until the last leg came off.
  22. If you ever complete this challenge, the lag will be incredible. Good luck to you, sir.
  23. Been playing KSP for a while now. Really liking it. Landed on Mun, Minmus, Duna, Eve, and Kerbin (if you call crashing landing)
