  4. You guys are the best community. I'll concentrate on the RCS distribution at first as Lelitu's comment makes sense that the translation control is pretty much non-existent meaning that when I get to that fine control point one end is skipping out over the other. - - - Updated - - - I'm not familiar with the term.
  5. I'm not blowing my own trumpet but I've never had a problem with docking before. Was rather proud of how accomplished I was at it. I honestly am beginning to think it's likely I'm dealing with poor RCS design. I'm wondering if I've forgotten my RCS design basics? My part concerned is centred, the module with the tapered end.
  6. Right I have the SAS off, I figured that out a long time ago. I used to have no issue with this. But I just cannot make it work anymore. I just spent 90 minutes with it dancing over the lip of my Docking Port Snr, over and over and over, finest dances, over and over and over, but it was never enough to capture, I would try to adjust and apply minimal RCS thrust, never did anything, 90 damn minutes and I had to install Hyperedit and try it over and over and I cannot make it work. It literally, has just worked (typical) but now I'm just frustrated and angry at the game. Is it possible that multiple docking nodes cause other docking nodes to malfunction? I am just incredibly shocked that the Snr port is not literally SUCKING the craft straight in with a bang with a strong magnetic capture. I try to RCS in, have the Docking Port addon in for fine tuning, have Docking mode enabled, other keys labeled on the keyboard ready to go, slowly, slowly, perfect everytime but they just never physically want to co-operate with me. Surely there is a mod that improves upon their physics? Anything at all. I can't have Kerbal be a game that makes me annoyed to play it it's too great for a frustrating problem to be a problem not worth solving.
  7. I adore this game. I have many Shapeway models, art works, it's legit. I have mugs too. But I am, honestly, nearly done. I just can't handle docking. It is so unnecessarily difficult and horrifically modeled.. They are supposed to work like magnets in the game right? It's so aggrevating. I spent he last 45 minutes trying to dock, the controls don't conform, my fine controls are just all over the place. I am nearly on the verge of uninstalling it. There has to be a way to forcibly dock ships, can someone tell me before I give up. I don't really mean that; I love Kerbal. I could never. I'm just angry.   8. I love this mod. It's always been super handy but the boxes are ugly and overbuilt. If there is anyway for the part to become unnecessary, or even aerodynamic or even in tune with the same colours of the crafts. Any sort of parts redesign at all?
  9. I can honestly say I've never been more excited for a video game release. I haven't played KSP since December last year because it kept changing. I held out for 1.0. I'm giddy.
  10. I feel that the community in Kerbal is so dedicated to such an awesome and fun educational game that few would ask for money. However there are some mods out there that I have donated to because of how excellent they are. I'd pay for the Shuttle mod simply because of its quality I feel I'd love to buy the developer a cup of coffee. But that's what donate buttons are for. Monetising and turning it into a taxable employment in which Steam would benefit would be monstrous.
  11. I've got a Jebediah Kerman and a Gene Kerman from Shapeways. I can honestly say they are the coolest things. Then again I also have an oil painting of Jebediah and a canvas print of a first orbit experience in my apartment... I think I enjoy KSP.
  12. I haven't played since December last year bar a brief pop in. I miss Kerbal. I even have a portrait of Jebediah on my wall but I can't play it because everytime I boot my game breaks because of updates. I can't wait for v1 to drop so my life can be over and I lock myself away with this game for six months.

  15. These are my mods, all are the latest versions available on Curse. I have updated the new DLL's as suggested prior. Windows 7, 64bit launching 32bit version. Plenty of memory and no play issues but JSI doesn't show up as anything but grey screen.
  16. I've installed RPM and dropped in the new .dll's from a few posts back in this thread. I'm still getting grey screens. All my buildings are updated and I have the latest Module Manager and tried the one that it comes with but I've been unable to make it work.
  17. I'm completely at a loss to understand this mod. I've tried several different methods but it just won't work. Anytime I launch a craft it will not deplete any resource onboard or added it just starts -21days and it goes up and up and up to -150days and nothing happens, Jeb swirling around all and not caring but I just cannot get the thing to work. 64bit Windows and yes it's enabled at the space centre.   18. I've had a gander around the thread and can't get confirmation; 64bit compatible or prone to crashing? I've not been able to get it working for more than ten minutes isolated to this mod on 64bit Windows. :c Shame I want MKS!
  19. Hello I can't seem to find the explosive part in my game for the abort sequence. I can't set it manually either. Any suggestions? Nevermind it's unlocked in Supersonic parts. ;D
  20. Hey! First of all, you can have Jeb exit the lander and right click each science module to collect the data (this can render certain experiments inoperable however) and he can store it on his body, you can then launch another remotely controlled craft towards him and try to match velocities, so the best thing I can suggest is try to set up a rendezvous as close as you possibly can, once you are close enough you can use RCS thrusters to finely adjust your target speed by ensuring you are travelling at 0.0 M/S and you can either have it with an alternative launch cabin and you can transfer Jeb back into that. You can also install a mod called KERBAL ATTACHMENT SYSTEM, you can use this mod to actually launch parts to Jeb in a safety box, he can then remove the extra radial parachutes from these boxes and then you can attach them during an EVA emergency repair of your ship and then carry on as normal! Here is a link for KAS, http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/0-18-2-kas-kerbal-attachment-system-v0-1/ - If you are going that approach, you can install the Mod by dropping the folder "GameData" into your main KSP folder, and then loading the game again. You then have to unlock the parts in Science and Research if this is a career game or they are readily available in sandbox. You then should look for a small container box that is silver and flat in nature, this fits to a bracket on the side of your ship and you right click it and can manually add numerous essential repair parts, in this case, radial parachutes, which you can then take to your capsule. Also, if you ever run out of fuel, you can use this same procedure and set up a refuel line in space. Good luck! Let us know what you decide upon and if you need any more help.

  23. I've tried several combinations, the first parts go in but trying to add a science module or satellite or anything it just sinks or doesn't touch the lips of the decoupler or docking module I just dunno what to do.
  24. Can someone help me with using the cargo bay? Try as I might absolutely nothing fits, I can't get anything to dock properly and using docking ports they just don't line up properly, literally ever. I can't use it. Can anyone tell me what I might be doing wrong and step by step how they achieve it?
