First of all, please make crafts which others are making too! I already have 2 Saturn Vs, it would be great to see your versions of those too! :)

And, that looks amazing! I only need a description, and I'll add it. :)

Also, Yukon0009, those poor Rhinos! They have been nerfed so hard ASL! That Delta IV heavy is great, but it has a TWR of 1.0, I'll be changing that a bit, if you don't mind. :)

Will do. I made a Delta IV back in .90 I have an album of me landing it on the Mun with no fuel. *Dont question that* It wont be hard to replicate that beauty. All these American Crafts I made in .90. Im going to try to load them up in 1.0.2 and see if they still work or if I have to make an entirely new version ;.;. :) Glad to be part of 'Murica

Hey, hey :D I finally got the Delta IV working properly. Unfortunately, pitch is A and D not too bad because when you reach orbit it changes the W and S for pitch so probably on launch you could set it to orbit already. Anyways, the new aero and thrust distribution make the craft completely unstable. Thankfully, flight instructions go as so: Full throttle, first stage: All engines fire, dont turn just go straight up, decouple boosters after done, you should be around 30,000 meters in the atmosphere, turn 90 degrees and burn parallel, continue to burn parallel until it runs out of fuel, decouple main booster, wait for periapsis (Should be around 1,000,000 meters +) Burn to orbit, should have way more delta v to go to minmus and back with that stage, decouple, DSP-23 satellite deployed. Insert Smiley face here:

Final Product:

Should be releasing tommorow. In the meantime, I got something else to do :D

I've gone mad like a Mad Scientist . Project Gemini in a nutshell gentlekerbs.

Javascript is disabled. View full album

Download will be available tommorow and description would probably be something like a new beginning :)

Ohh and I am changing the model a bit around to be slightly more accurate.

Unless that is you like it as is.

I'm looking forward to having that in this project. :)

The Delta IV heavy with the DSP-23 that could even do....

Hold on. Download getting ready. World of Tanks more important.

-----Edit------

Here it is: Delta V: To orbit, to minmus, to orbit of kerbin, to orbit of Mun and back :D

Great! Only one thing, do you think you could add a description? I can't wait to add it. :)

EDIT:

Oh, and:

World of Tanks more important.

BURN THE TRAITOR! :sticktongue:

I just sort of condense the first paragraph of the wiki page on the rocket.

Here you go! :D

The Delta IV Heavy, initially launched in 2004 it established the first operational payload known as the DSP-23 Satellite utilized for the National Reconnaissance Office. It has 1/5 of the thrust in comparison to the Saturn V Rocket and was primarily used for the Orion project. Costing over 375 million dollars, this historical rocket can lift over 30 tons of a payload. Lastly, it is prominently known as the World’s Largest Rocket.

------Edit-------

Was mine similar to yours?

Great! Thanks! I didn't write a description for a Delta IV Heavy, I don't quite understand.

Ohh and Gemini Im gonna hold for another day. Probably going to do some of that stuff found in open community aesthetics thread.

And if you want to know how that World of Tanks match went here: 8 tank kills, I think 4 tank assists, and still had more than half health. Unfortunately, I wasn't using my Russian Tank that moment instead I used my low tier Somua S35 French Tank :)

Have you tried warthunder? I find it more realistic and more fun, and has a lot more random one shots.

Not sure if these are good enough yet - I'm sure I'd need to work a bit more on them before they'd be ready to add to the thread but:

Little Joe: Mercury project unmanned test rocket.

Mercury Capsule in Orbit

Gemini Capsule:

My Atlas and Titan feel close - but not at the level of detail this thread deserves - but I'm pretty happy with Little Joe and my capsules so far.

So small, but it can get into orbit. I am working on Ares 1 and Ares V :) and probably a Gemini

---Edit---

But how did you get two kerbals onboard yours with the mk1 command pod? Two clipped?

Little Joe can't get to orbit - it was Mercury's unmanned atmospheric test rocket. I needed my Atlas for that. lktqdPbl.jpg

As for Gemini:

Docking JR

Decoupler

Retro Rocket

Fuel + parachutes

Mk 1 pod + antena

Mk 1 Lander can = RCS fuel

Faring

Heatshield + engines

I knew there had to be a lander somewhere. I guess I will leave that upon you then. To the Ares V I go, and probably some probe replicas :)

Ares 1 Download is ready

Description: The Ares 1 Space Module. As a key component to the constellation program, it will be the replacement of the space shuttle, capable of lifting 24,500 Kilograms into LEO. This two stage rocket will be the foundation for the Ares V to send supplies to sustain human life on MARS. Towering over 94 meters tall, this rocket was named after Greek God Ares. Lockheed Martin proudly participate in the Lockheed Martin and looks toward a bright future in 2030.

Since some people liked it and since both Atlas and Redstone still need more work I can offer Little Joe to the thread.

Little Joe

Description: Little Joe was a solid-fueled rocket used to test the heat shield and LES system for Project Mercury. A successor rocket, the Little Joe II was used for the same purposes in the Apollo program.

Looks interesting. Great crafts everyone! I might just join this. I have a whole poster hanging above my computer that shows all of the old U.S. rockets.

Can you post pictures? I'm out of fresh ideas other than diggin up old crafts.

I made a Little Joe II:

Javascript is disabled. View full album
The Little Joe II was a research rocket used to test the Apollo launch escape system at various points, including max Q http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Little_Joe_II

Instructions: Just plonk it out on the launchpad, hit space to launch and then press backspace (abort) whenever you want to test the LES. When you're clear of the rocket, mash space until the parachutes deploy.
