[OS X] Wings3D freezing when browsing for external files and locations

I'm trying to get into KSP modeling and texturing, and Wings3D is apparently the go-to program for beginners. I've been able to make some great models, but whenever I use a system dialog box launched from Wings, the program freezes and becomes totally unresponsive. This happens whenever I Save As, Merge, Open, etc. Anything that prompts a file browser dialog box to appear. When I make my selection, and close the box, the program is frozen.

I'm running Wings3D 1.5.3. on OS X Yosemite (10.10.4).

This may be off topic, but the Wings3D forums aren't terribly active, and I know there's a good chance someone else here has had similar issues.

Found a work around. Disabling "Mac OS File Dialog" no longer causes freezing. For anyone having issues on OS X, don't use the OS X File Dialog.
