Incomplete contract - can I go to arbitration?

Those Jerkfaces at Winter Owl say I didn't land my ore on Kerbin. I say I did. And they don't know the trouble I went through to get it there. I had to send a rescue and recovery ship to pick up Jeb, Bob and the ore. I'm not doing a third trip. No way. What are they expecting here??

Can I go to arbitration? Or, is there a way to complete the contract in the save files?

The Alt-F12 cheat/debug menu has an option for completing existing contracts. It's useful for when the game refuses to acknowledge that you've completed the specifics.

In this case, perhaps it literally wanted you to land rather than splash down.

Send a boat with a Klaw out to tow it back to shore maybe?

Or a VTOL to airlift it back to land?

I suppose Ore doesn't do anyone much good floating about at sea, but yeah...game should have gave you credit for completeing the mission.

I've seen this one before -- yes, it has to end up on solid ground to complete the contract.

I had a save just before re-entry, but couldn't get it to land instead of splashdown, but it makes sense, because of the contracts specific to splash down. So fussy with the contracts.
