(1.2 pre) Allow the MK1 Crew Cabin to be marked as Debris

I used to do the renaming and re-branding of things though the Space Centre.

It stopped working with 1.1.3. I read somewhere that the Devs renoved the possibility because users would make EVA into ships or debris and crash the game.

I read somewhere that it was working again in 1.2......I think. I have not gotten a chance to try yet.

It used to be done using the "i". You know the ship info button.

If you go to the Tracking station and select your vessel. You can press the "i" on the bottom right menu and then press the name of the vessel. Now you can rename it.

Its a de-cluttering issue. When I rescue a kerbal out of a rename-able pod, I change the name to 'xxx whoever kerbal' and change its type to debris. I have a bunch of active rescue missions going, so it is a pain to differentiate between empty crew pods and pods with Kerbals still in them.

Does the 'i' key tell me if there is a Kerbal in the craft that I've selected? Because that would solve the issue for me as well.

I wish there was a separate flag for "Decommissioned" ships, so that it kept it's type and icon but can be hidden with debris.

It doesn't but there is as far as i remember, there is a button next to the i one, maybe with a kerbal instead, that tells you who are in.

Also, in the Astronaut Center, checking the Assigned tab shows where given kerbal is. Not as simple, but works.
