How to figure out the size/class of an asteroid after you have added it to the tracking center?

Recommended Posts

I can see the size/class when the asteroid is still an unknown object but when I click track and add to tracking center, I only get the name, altitude and velocity readings with no size readings.  This makes it hard for me to know what kind of craft to launch to intercept it.

After you have tracked an asteroid, in the Tracking Station, select it.

At the bottom right of your screen, next to the KSPedia button is an "i" button. Click or hover over it and it shows the size class at the top, and repeats the generic class info at the bottom.
